"What the hell possessed you to jump out in front of a moving car?!" Your cab driver aggressively questions, you can see her glance at you through her rear-view mirror, her brows knitting together underneath her bangs and her eyes filled with irritation as they flicker back onto the road. "I almost killed you, dumbass!"

"I need to make amends with somebody." Your leg bouncing as anxiety rises, your eager eyes watching as the other cars pass by. "Can't you go any faster?"

"Lady, I'm going as fast as I can!!" The girl blurts still accelerating despite her outburst, the tires screeching against the road as she speeds through the streets, propelling you back into the seat in the process.

Jesus! She's insane!!

You have to respect her style though, she has long hair with a full fringe, the colour looks blue with pink streaks although it's quite hard to tell for sure considering the darkness is only being combatted by a few city lights and finally, she wears a face mask like your previous driver, although hers looks pink.

She's kind of cute, honestly.

And she almost looks familiar.

The girl throwing you forward in your seat when she harshly brakes, the seatbelt being the only thing stopping you from face-planting the front seat as she pulls the handbrake up and takes the car out of gear, turning to face you.

"We're here!"

You had gathered as much by this point though, reaching for your cash and throwing a tip her way as you begin to unbuckle your belt, the girl's gasp grabbing your attention as she counts the cash.

"Wow~!! You gave me extra~?" She blurts out, her red-tinted eyes suddenly shooting up at you as she continues, a flash of realization shining in her gaze. "W-Wait! Are you the 'relationship issues' lady?!"

The what?

Your expression must speak for you since the girl immediately snorts, folding the money before tucking it away inside her little handbag. "Whoa! Pay-Pay told me all about you, he's my little brother, you know that~?"

She and her brother are both cab drivers? Why?

"I'm glad I was able to make an impression..." You simply murmur, taking this opportunity to open the car door, climbing out before hastily closing it behind you.

"Thank you for the moneeey~!" The girl wasting no time in pulling away as you approach the apartment complex, your eyes lingering on Rosinante's window as you hesitantly make your way inside.

Your legs suddenly feeling three times heavier than usual, sweat already dampening your face and hands as you press the button to call the elevator, your hands trembling madly as you watch the numbers go down on the small screen.

Come on, hurry up before I puke!

Upon finally reaching the blonde's floor, you hotfoot your way to his apartment, swallowing your fears whilst knocking on the door loud and clear as you rehearse what to say in your head.

I'm sorry--! No, I'm really fucking sorry!

I had no idea, I'm an idiot!

You have every right to be angry with me--!

The door suddenly swinging open mid-thought and your eyes landing on a very grumpy-looking Law; the dark circles under his eyes as noticeable as ever and his jaw is tensed, you'd wager he is currently gritting his teeth, his eyes narrowing as they stare down at you.

"What do you want?" His voice is calm and almost emotionless as his brows furrow.

Pleasure to see you too, Law.

"Is Rosinante here?" You can practically feel the pleading look in your eyes but despite how intimidating you find this young man, you have no desire to back down, not yet.

You're beginning to learn that leaving things unsaid is a bad idea.

"No, he isn't." Law bluntly grunts, his cold gaze never leaving your small frame as he takes a step back, preparing to close the wooden barrier on you. "I also have company over so please leave."

Of course your more stubborn nature kicks in at that, wedging your foot in the way of the door as the raven attempts to swing it shut, getting trapped between the wood and drawing a small hiss from your lips whilst pain erupts throughout the limb but you still refuse to give up.

"We all know you don't have friends, Law." You bluntly grumble through clenched teeth, forcing your way inside and shoving the raven aside in the process, not missing how his expression changes into a look of both shock and slight dread.

And it's in this very moment that your eyes land on the couch, a very odd scene set out before you.

What the hell is going on in here?
