Shuichi's POV

I was reading one of my favorite mystery novels until all of a sudden I got a phone call.
I looked at my phone and it was Kaito.

"I should've known" I giggled.

I picked it up.

"h-hello?" I stuttered.

"wassup bro?!" Kaito yelled enthusiastically into the phone.

"u-uhm nothing much, just reading." I replied.

"that's cool!" He stated.

"uhm... what time do I have to come over? you never specified." I questioned him.

"oh, you can come anytime, just no later than 9pm" he replied.

"alright then, i'll come in a few. i don't want to keep you waiting." i stated.

"alrighty, see ya later bro!" he replied.

"see ya later." I said as i hung up.

as soon as I hung up, I started getting ready.

*after he got ready*

I finally finished getting ready and I started to go to Kaito's house until...

"hey, where are you off to?" my uncle questioned me out of nowhere.

I slightly jumped.

"u-uh to my friends house." I replied nervously.

"I know that face," he giggled. "you're going to a girls house. aren't you?" he joked.

"no, I'm going to Kaito's house." I replied to his joke.

"well okay... have fun little man!" he stated.

"Okay." i answered his joyful words.

so then, I continued walking to Kaito's house...

*time skip*

I finally arrived at his house. I went and knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

his grandma answered.

"aw hello deary, come on in" she said, full of joy.

I nervously walked in.

I looked around for Kaito and he wasn't in sight so i decided to knock on his room door.

I waited for a few moments.

"hm... I wonder where he went." I thought to myself.

and all of a sudden, Kaito came out of the bathroom. it looked like he just got done taking a shower.

"gya! oh hey Kaito." I said nervously,

I started blushing at the sight. And I have no idea why. this isn't the first time i've seen a guy without a shirt, what the heck is wrong with me.

I decided to ignore it for now.

"oh hey bro! sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." he giggled
