Going through a break up.

It had been 4 days. Shuichi was still upset about the break up. he told himself over and over again that it was his fault.

Shuichi's crying had calmed down. it soon turned into guilt and over thinking. Shuichi hasn't left his room for the past 4 days. he looked a mess.

"maybe I should clean myself up... I bet I look disgusting." he thought to himself.

so when he said that, he forced himself to get up and go get a shower.

*after he took a shower*

when Shuichi was done, he went to go see his uncle.

Shuichi walked into the living room where his uncle was sitting at the couch reading a warrior cats book.

"h-hey..." I mumbled.

"oh, hey Shuichi," he hugged Shuichi and messed with his hair. "are you feeling better? you haven't been out of your room for days. you really worried me little man." his uncle finished.

"I'm sorry.. it's just that going through a break up is difficult but the feelings had calmed down a little bit." Shuichi replied.

it was silent for a little..

"uhm i'm going to go back to my room. okay?" Shuichi stated.

"alright" his uncle replied.

so then, Shuichi walked into his room and sat on the bed with a blank look in his face.

"god... what has happened to me?" he mumbled. "i'm such a mess.." he sighed.

as Shuichi was talking to himself, someone opened the door.

and guess who it was...
it was... kaito!

"hey bro?" Kaito said quietly, trying to catch the Detective's attention.

Shuichi just lazily turned around.

"thank god you're alright.." Kaito said in a state of relief.

Shuichi then got up and hugged Kaito.

"I was worried because you weren't answering any of my messages or phone calls." Kaito admitted.

"I.. i'm sorry Kaito. I really am" Shuichi gave a genuine apology.

Kaito hugged him and messes with his hair.

"it's alright man! I know my sidekicks going through a difficult time. I'm glad you're okay" Kaito smiled.

"honestly, me too." Shuichi giggled.

Kaito sat down next to Shuichi on the bed.

"Now... would you care to tell me why you are upset? it's okay if you don't. i'll still be there for you" Kaito asked, wanting to help Shuichi.

"w-well.. Kaede broke up with me and it's all my fault.." Shuichi started to slightly cry.

"oh.. why do you think that?" Kaito asked, genuinely confused.
