This is boring...if I wanted to stand on a stage in front of the entire school I would have just tried to be an actor... The pondering thought had faded as soon as the Headmaster, Gon started speaking. "You have overcome species differences and achieved outstanding results in various competitions." This was vomit-inducing, he wouldn't be saying this if he saw what had happened not a day or two ago. Or perhaps that's exactly why they are doing this, so they can still hold the ruse of unity and peace. A clever tactic, it'll fool most people. You nodded to yourself, the ever-amusing strategist you are not because you're just a student. "You have also contributed immensely to the prosperity of Cherryton Academy. To praise your achievement, I hereby grant you the Cherryton School Honor Award." The applause ruptures through the room as who you expect was probably Louis stepped forward to receive the reward. "I expect another successful year for the drama club!"
"Of course sir, you can count on it." You rolled your faux eyes, "Of CoUrSe SiR, yOu CaN cOuNt On It!" you mimic quietly to yourself, catching the red deer off guard. You couldn't see his face but it was probably something around the lines of 'the audacity of this bitch' in face form. "Coexistence and co-prosperity, our drama club will continue to demonstrate its glory on this stage." You hear him say, possibly to the crowd with the microphone that he either just had with him, which is weird, or he just magically made appear because you didn't sense anyone walk towards him, which is also weird. But you ignore it and face out towards the audience.
"Coexistence!? What a joke!"
"Keep it down would you?"
"He kicked me off the actors team, what do I care who hears?" Kai pouts as the dance team and the actors team work down below. He sighs, "I'm not as bitter as before though." He says as he leans on the railing, Legoshi coming up next to him and doing the same. "Glad to hear it."
'I was wondering... have you ever thought about joining the actors team?"
"Who me? Never. Oh hey, those lights need a little adjusting" Legoshi says as he lumbers over towards them. "Then you must have been surprised when you were scouted by the advisor."
"What?"
"You can only join this club if they scout you. It's exclusive to those that are worthy of representing the drama club."
"Hmm... Okay? But what do they judge you on?"
"Haha c'mon, don't tell me you joined the drama club without knowing any of this... '' Legoshi just stares at Kai like he's crazy, of course, he wouldn't join a club because of a reason like that. "For example... Uhh... Let's take Sheila from the dance team. At age fourteen that cheetah was scouted while working part-time as a dominatrix at a BDSM club to make ends meet. Mina the giraffe can't look at her own body because she's got trypophobia. Moro the rhino believes he sees his guardian angel when it's really his own horn in his line of sight and in case you're wondering about me I'm a mongoose who was abandoned at birth and raised by a family of hyenas, and the list goes on and on. The drama club is a mixture of unusual characters only those with unique circumstances can join." Kai looked down towards you as you measured another student, placing your finger on the mark and having the student say it out loud into a recorder so you could remember it. "Though some have it a bit worse than others, sure there is trypophobia and guardian angel horns but look at (Y/N), if anyone is an oddity it would be her." Legoshi peers towards you, nervously continuing his work as you finish up with the student. "She doesn't have eyes, like not even just blind, they're gone! It's so fascinating seeing how she goes about."
"I think it's the soles of her shoes"
"Why do you think that?
"Look at them, she's the only one that doesn't wear the school shoes, and those have all those weird tools on them."
