[Flashback]
You slammed your door and immediately cried. You frantically looked around your room and quickly grabbed your backpack and started packing some things. You quickly zipped up the bag and put it on and put a hat on. You suddenly heard stomping coming towards the stairs. "You insolent brat! I took you under my roof and this is how you act!" a male voice spoke as they stomped up the stairs. You quickly opened your window and levitated down. It was foggy out so hardly anyone could see you. You ran deep into the fog and pulled out a flashlight, hearing a door burst open from afar. You ran faster and heard the male yell in frustration which soon faded as you ran far from the prison you were forced to call home.

You ended up not too far from the docks. You suddenly stopped and could hear some repeated thuds and then voices. These voices kept crying for help in your ears. You cover your ears. You knew this sign too well. Someone was going to die and you knew exactly who. You couldn't bear the cries of the dead. It was too much for you. You had to let it out. You clenched onto your ears more but the whispers never stopped until you heard the thud. You let it out and screamed. Alerting the town, the forest, the mountains, the sea, and the underground that someone has died. Objects began shaking and the waves of the ocean were starting to go crazy. "The Harbinger of Death has spoken! Search the town!" an old voice spoke in the fog. You stopped screaming and everything calmed down. You quickly went to the docks and hid in one of the boats. You could hear from afar the townspeople grabbing their coats and lights and running outside. "A man was found! A man was found!" you heard a man announce. The man that was after you had tripped and busted his head open and died from the injury and blood loss.

It didn't take police long to grab the body and everyone went back to work but talked about it. These townspeople never feared you or The Harbinger of Death. They accepted you as long as you never hurt the town. They used you in folklore and in America was known as a Banshee. You were more than just a banshee. You were a person born with powers and had to keep them a secret. You had learned to control it at a young age thanks to your grandma but it didn't last long. Your grandma soon passed away and your parents left you in the hands of your aunt and uncle. They weren't very nice. After some hours, the boat moved out to sea. You had no idea where the big ship was heading to but you hoped it was some place better. Being a teenage girl was gonna be hard. Nasty men would go after you and could only be able to help out with certain jobs. You didn't care, as long as you were far from your hometown, you felt safe.

You are a full grown adult now. The orphanage that took you in, kicked you out as soon as you found a job and a small place. New York reminded you a bit of Ireland. You were born there but your parents were american and wanted to stay there, far from all the war. It was always moist but Ireland had a lot of fogs. After working at the nursery and leaving around 8, you walked home but felt uneasy. You focused on hearing certain things, making sure there wasn't anyone around. You immediately turned around and sent the person flying across the street. A man was ready to take you but you weren't gonna let that happen. More guys came and you had no choice but to fight back however you were getting out numbered and you were soon captured.

You woke up and felt yourself strapped down and heard men talking. "Dumaju, nam stout perevesti ee v druguju sektsiju s takimi, kak ona (I think we should move her to another section with others like her)" a man was talking in a different language. The other guy agreed and walked off. A doctor came in and flinched when seeing me awake. He quickly got other doctors and started sticking syringes into you to see if anything could affect you. The voices came back again after so long. The ceiling started deforming and had faces and hands stretching out to you. You panicked and thrashed around in the straps. The voices cried louder. These doctors were going to die and not in a good way. The main doctor quickly ran out to grab someone. The voices got louder and you couldn't help it. With your hands strapped down, you couldn't contain the voices. You shut your eyes tightly and screamed. Your scream echoing off the walls. The doctors around you had their skull shattered. They fell to the floor and glass around you broke. Your scream soon died down and you silently cried. You had just killed doctors that probably had families.

Nothing was the same after that. You were quickly sent somewhere and experimented on and had you learn some combat skills. They kept your memories fearing that the machine might wipe your abilities away or worse, you'd scream and everyone would die along with you. You were forced to do missions on stealing and hacking into things. It soon came to an end. You have learned their language to understand what they say. They were talking about a fight that was about to happen and that you were a special weapon that needed to be kept hidden. You were placed in some sort of machine. You could feel yourself suddenly feeling cold so you wrapped your arms around yourself but it never helped and you felt colder until you blacked out.
[End of flashback]

You slowly opened your eyes, feeling the sun's warmth on your face. You groaned as your head quickly started pounding your brain like crazy. You slowly sat up and sighed. You sat there with your eyes closed until a knock was heard at your door. You got up growling and headed towards the door and opened it to see Natasha standing there. "Uh oh, you drank again. Get dressed and I'll make you something to help your hangover" Nat sighed. You just nodded and closed the door. You never liked morning showers. It just seemed too early for it but you probably smelled like alcohol so you had to.

You finished up and dressed in a baggy shirt and a hooded jacket and some comfortable jeans then put on some combat boots that had no heels. You headed towards the elevator and went to the floor where the kitchen was. As soon as you stepped foot out of the elevator, you could smell someone's cooking. You went to the kitchen to see Nat and Rikki cooking up some breakfast. Nat then placed some hangover soup towards you along with a water bottle. "Thanks Nat. You didn't have to make me soup" you smiled at her. "No problem," Nat smiled back. "Hey pinky, who are you cooking for?" you asked Rikki while eating some of the soup. "For Becca and my dad and the rest of the time" Rikki said as she started making the pancakes. You choked on your soup then drank water. Once you finished you quickly got up and helped Rikki. "You don't have to cook for them. Men. Am I right?" you smiled and Rikki gave a light chuckle. Nat started helping out. "These boys make the excuse of being too busy to make breakfast for themselves" Nat rolled her eyes. Wanda soon came down and joined us.
