『Chapter 5』

Once we finished making breakfast. We placed the food on the table and on que the boys entered. "Thank you ladies" Tony smiled at us. "If we wanted to, we could've cooked for ourselves but we are so thoughtful" I put on a dramatic smile. Rikki laughed. Becca came running in and sat at the table. "And where have you been, you little fox?" I smiled playfully. "I've been watching dad punch a bag and once he hit about fifteen times, boom! It broke off the hook!" Becca praised her dad. "Oh really? You sure he wasn't slacking off?" I smirked and felt Bucky's glare on me. "Mhmm, he just kept bunching then soon lifted me up and used my to build up his muscles. He didn't realize I was watching him until I cheered for him" Becca smiled and Rikki put pancakes on her plate.

I raised a brow. "You must really be a sneaky fox. Wanna train with me and your big sis today?" I asked. Becca's smile grew wide and nodded repeatedly. "Yes!" Becca cheered. "No. No way in hell are you going anywhere near my girls while fighting" Bucky growled. "But dad, how else will me and Becca defend ourselves?" Rikki spoke up. "You don't. Me and the avengers will protect you" Bucky glared at Rikki. Rikki glared back. "This is bullshit!" Rikki slammed her fist on the table.

Some of us jumped. "You watch your language! Grab your breakfast and head to your room." Bucky ordered. "I'm no longer hungry." Rikki sat up from her seat and walked off to the elevator. I quickly muted Becca's hearing. "What the hell was that?" I grumbled. "I'm protecting my kids." Bucky ate his food. "That's bullshit and you know it. Rikki and Becca need to learn some combat skills to defend themselves and without it, they'll die trying" I reasoned with him. "They're my kids! Not yours!" Bucky shouted at me.

"Someone hold me back because I'm 'bout to beat a bitch" I was about to strike at Bucky, same with Bucky but I was held back by Wanda and Bucky was held back by Steve. "[y/n] calm down. Let's think with our brains and not with our fist" Tony crossed his arms. "Cyborg. Depressed woman over here has a point. Rikki should be lucky she knew how to get away but what about the second time? The second time they go after Rikki, she won't be able to get away from them because they've learned the first time. I suggest you let depressed woman train them in some combat" Tony reasoned with Bucky. Bucky seemed to calm down a bit. "Fine---but if you go rough on them. You'll no longer stay here" Bucky warned me. Wanda slowly let go of me and Steve slowly let go of Bucky.

I knocked on Rikki's door. Thank you Nat for giving me direction to her room and of course before I left I allowed Becca to hear again. "Go away!" Rikki yelled. "It's not your dad but maybe someone better" I joked. I heard Rikki get up from her bed and shuffled towards the door and slowly opened it. "Hey pinky" I greeted. "Can you maybe not call me pinky? Tony might use it" Rikki asked and let me in then closed the door behind her. "Ok then, what would you like me to call you?" I sat down in her bean bag chair. "Firefly sounds awesome" Rikki gave me a small smile and sat on her bed. "Ok then, firefly. I've got some good news for you. I can teach you and your sister some killer moves" I smirked. Rikki's eyes shined with glee. "No way! I can't believe dad agreed to it" Rikki said, a bit dumbfounded. "Well thanks to Tony for convincing him, otherwise me and your dad would've been beating each other's ass just for him to agree" I summarized what happened at the dining room. "Well when can I start?" Rikki seemed to be excited. "Tomorrow at--" I paused and looked at Rikki's clock that was on her bed side table. "5 am sharp. I need you to be serious otherwise you're gonna be Hydra's next assassin or experiment" I set the time. Rikki nodded. "Now do you guys have any games? I think you need to blow off steam" I sat up from the bean bag chair.

I jolted up from my alarm going off. I wheezed out of breath and reached for my Truly and drank some. "I knew I should've sneaked a shot," I told myself. Now I'm starting to have the same nightmares again. I looked at the clock and saw it was three in the morning. I groaned and got myself up and got ready for the day after I showered. Once I was done I went to the training room. FRIDAY helping me on the way there. I thanked FRIDAY and entered the training room and jumped at the sound of a thud. Reminding me of my horrible teenage years.
