TW: Swearing, drug use, alcohol, nsfw, ANGST

I felt my palms getting sweaty. If I didn't get home soon, I knew my dad would yell at me, or even worse. It's bad enough that my sister won't be coming with me. It's not like he even cares anyways.

I pushed open the door at the front entrance and started running, my home was a few ways away from the school, I knew I was gonna start getting tired.

My legs were getting weaker by the moment and I wasn't even close. I could feel my calves burning, I needed a break.

I ran as far as I could, but I had to stop. So I stopped near a tree, by the sidewalk. Cars passed by. Many houses were in front of me, it looked like my neighborhood, that meant my house was close. I pulled out my phone and sat under a near by tree, hoping to get some shade.  I needed a break. Many notifications were popping up on my phone, and some missed calls from "father."

Has it really been that long?

The time said "5:23." I got back up on my feet with my bag still on my back, putting my phone in my pocket as I clicked it off. I started running as fast as I could to my house.

Minutes had past, not knowing what my father was going to do, and still running.

I was now beginning to see my house. I made it finally. My legs felt tired as I walked up the steps and opened the door. I ran up the stairs, not having a care in the world about my legs at the moment, even though my calves were burning. Closing the door behind me and setting my bag on my floor. The door flung open, as I fell back onto my bed startled.

"Where the hell have you been?!" That rough voice said.

I couldn't look up at him. "I-I missed the bus."

"You think I believe that? Where the hell is your sister?" His loud footsteps came close to me.

"Look up at me george." I could hear the seriousness in his voice.

"Delly said she was going with some friends, so I thought it wouldn't hurt anything." I met with his eyes.

He grabbed my by the collar of my shirt, I could feel my face getting warm, fear in bulging within me. I started to panic. I smelt smoke from his breath.

"Don't ever let that happen again, son, do you hear me?!" His voice rang through my ears.

I didn't say anything, he tighten his grip. "I said do you damn well hear me?" The tone, was deeper, more serious.

"Y-yes I do." He dropped me onto my bed.

"Good." The door slammed shut as I heard loud footsteps walking down the stairs.

Tears started to form in my eyes, I couldn't take it. I knew this was gonna happen but I still let it. The crying went on for a few minutes as yelling was going on downstairs.

I finished wiping my tears, I felt numb inside. Looking over at my phone I saw the time, 8:32.

Dream invited me to a party.

A party is just what I need.

I went over to my closet seeing what I had. Picking out some clothes I put on a pair of ripped skinny jeans, and a gray sweater. I still had my converse and socks on of course. I slipped my phone into my back pocket, opening my window right after. I made no noise, luckily my window was quiet, but the falling to get on the ground not so much.

As I jumped out my window carefully, a car pulled up. Dreams car. Oh gosh I hope my parents didn't hear that, I hope. There probably too busy arguing and throwing things onto the floor, to hear it anyways, but there's always a chance.
