Atharvaaaaaa.....

Atharvaa, please open your eyes, please, please, please... Don't you dare to leave me, I will kill you.... please Atharvaa, open your eyes, I can't live without you. Please...

Ten minutes ago, I'm happy with my life, and I had everything that I dreamed of. The kids got fully recovered and ready to move to another city with their parents to live their new phase gracefully. I had all evidence against that Mayur raj to prove him guilty, and most importantly, I had my man, my love of the life, with me, whom I yearned and longed for every day for the past three months.

Now... Now, I'm losing everything slowly in front of my eyes.

I never felt this pathetic, hopeless, and frightful in my life that I'm experiencing right now, which is shaking me to the core.

It's just a while ago that Atharvaa and I were living in our visualized world happily, teasing, loving, snuggling, and laughing. He accepted and embraced me even after I hurt him. Not even seeking any other answers from me, he gave me a chance, believing in me, and I thought I would go back into his arms once I handle the kids. Also, reveal the Mayur Raj's true character to the world by exposing the evidence I collected and from pen drive. But those messages collapsed all my dreams in the blink of an eye.

Those messages... no, a rush of threats with all my family member's information attached, including Atharvaa's, making a shiver run through my spine and realize what Kulkarni sir went through. So, I raced out of the house to keep my distance from him and made my way to the road, messaging Duffer and Arjun to shift the kids quietly to a safe place immediately. But, he followed me like always, silently standing on his promise that he will always be there for me. So, I finally decided that it's my time to prove my vows were not only simple words and began to disclose all the truths in which I couldn't notice the truck speeding towards us.

Before I could process why he pushed me, he was lying on the road with blood oozing out from his head, causing me to freeze, and I felt like ground under my feet sink away.

More tears rolled on my cheek, and my breath ragged, provoking me to breathe hard as I reminisced how he got in this position only to save me, but the resolution to be strong for him made me take a deep breath and wipe my eyes.

"Atharvaa, please be conscious..." I whispered shakily, gently placed his head on my lap, tapping his cheek to regain his consciousness, but there was no use.

Picking a scarf from my bag, I tied it on his head, applying a little pressure to control the bleeding, and with a shivering hand, I called the emergency number and chattered down the address quickly. The ambulance reached the place within ten minutes, and with the help of a stretcher, they moved him to it, and I rushed with him, never leaving his hand. The paramedic started monitoring the pulse and breathing immediately while the vehicle began to drive to the hospital.

"Nothing will happen to you." I mumbled more to reassure myself, kissing his knuckles, observing the pulse. But all my firmness and determination, which I'm holding stubbornly for a long time, scrambled down, seeing another set of messages that I just received on my phone.
