"NOBODY LOVES YOU MORE THAN ME BABY" everyone chanted in the car, as day6's 1 to 10 was playing (love you, seungmin)

"seriously, seungmin has a great taste in music" soobin said and everyone agreed. seungmin held his head up high and grinned

"what are you making for dinner today, though?" minho asked haneul
"i was thinking about pasta"

"god damn it seungmin, your fat ass is killing me" felix muttered
"it's not my fault i actually have an ass"
"you know who has cake? yeonjun"
"and you know who doesn't? haneul"
"how dare you, lee minho"

their fight was cut short when minho stopped in front of the grocery store. the five scurried out of the car and felix started to stretch
"it was so cramped in there"

"i know, right? minho hyung should buy a new car" soobin agreed
"enough talking, let's split into groups. minho, seungmin, you guys go get sauces. soobin and lix, go get snacks. I'll go get the spaghetti and meat" haneul instructed
"sure but why do we need snacks when you're cooking?"
"because you guys eat like pigs. now shoo!!"

everyone saluted before running off into their designated aisles. haneul sighed and shook her head and walked around the store, trying to find the noodles.

as her eyes were scanning the store, they landed upon a small figure. she immediately recognized the person and decided to say hi

"hi, mr. kwak! it's been long, hasn't it?" she said with a smile
"oh, haneul. yes, it has.. 2 years?"
"2 years" she confirmed

the prosecuted nodded, "so, what are you looking for?"
"spaghetti-"
"it's right behind you, young girl" the elder chuckled

haneul turned around and like she was told, the spaghetti was right there
"thank you, mr. kwak!" she turned around, but the man was no longer there

she shrugged and was about to turn around when her eyes caught sight of a fallen piece of paper

she bent down and picked it up, noticing it was a torn picture. she frowned at it.

prosecutor kwak was the only one in the picture who's face wasn't torn off but he posed with two other people. one being a female, who was in the middle.

she shrugged it off as nothing and put the picture in her pocket, going back to buying the groceries

haven't updated in 3 days because i was so lost in a new book i started.
and i just had an intellectual conversation about books w my aunt.

also, I started writing a new renjun story in my drafts and I'm contemplating whether to publish it or not after I'm done with this book

life feels bitter for some reason but now im just ranting in ny footnote jsnsjshs
