Chapter 3| The Meeting

"You know that we have to meet Esther right?!" Lucy screeched as she hurried to get herself ready. "Yeah, yeah we know," Iridessa grumbled as she put on her shoes. She did not want to meet Esther. She did not like her at all and hated that they had to meet her. She felt like jumping off a cliff. Venus patted her head and said, "It's going to be OK," she cooed, making Iridessa push her back with her magic. Venus slammed into the wall, her back hitting a piece of wood, tearing her coat. She cried out in pain before growling. rushing towards her, only to be blocked by Lucy. Lucy just gave her a look which said, "don't fuck with me," and Venus rolled her eyes and walked back to her spot beside Bonnie

Shannel, who was putting her coat on when this was happening, looked to see if Venus was OK. The young witch nodded her head with a smirk. Then Shannel gave Iridessa two hard swats on her bottom.

 "Don't you use your magic against your family, we spoke about this!" she said sharply, her eyes piercing her little sisters. Bonnie, Lucy and Venus just exchanged looks and stood around awkwardly. Venus stifled a laugh. Iridessa was a little brat and needed dealing with. Bonnie just swatted her arm while Lucy just shook her head in disappointment. She wanted to say something but decided to stay silent. It was not her place to put her two cents in.

Iridessa glowered, shoving her sister off her. She really hated her sister sometimes. She was so annoying and overbearing. "It wasn't even that bad!" she snaps, her eyes flashing. She was pissed. Shannel just sighed. "Just get in the car Iridessa!" she snapped, making the younger flinch back before she ran, taking the car keys with her. Shannel rubbed her temples, sighing deeply. Iridessa had the tendency to act out. She always did it. Shannel suspected that it was for attention. After their father had left, Iridessa had never been the same. 

She had always been a daddy's girl. She got all the love and affection from him. So when he divorced their mother and cut off all contact, she was the most effected. When their mother died, she broke down even more and started to act out. Even though she had grown up, she still had her moments. Shannel had tried to find their father as soon as she tapped into her magic, but she failed every time. She had since accepted the fact that he didn't want to be found nor wanted to come back and realised that with a heavy heart. 

"You guys can go as well," she muttered, making Lucy, Venus and Bonnie file out of the Bennett Mansion. Unbeknown to them, their lives were about to change forever.

Inside the Mikaelson Mansion, the family were awaiting their arrival.

"I hope that you will all behave yourselves," Esther said, her eyes resting on each of her children. She was not really worried about Finn, Elijah and Rebekah as they tended to be quite well behaved. It was Kol and Niklaus she was worried about. They usually acted out when they had an audience. They had done it since they were human. "I need you two to be on your best behaviour," she stressed. 

This meeting was important and she couldn't have anything go wrong. He first plan was to destroy her children, but she was forced to have a change of heart. The Spirits of Nature warned her of the consequences and she reconsidered it. She knew it happened as she had failed to protect her children. But she was willing to try all over again. She knew that they would not forgive her easily, but she knew that it was worth the wait. Finn nodded his head at her. "I will make sure that they will behave themselves," he replied before Elijah could get a word in.

 He knew that the younger would try and act like the older one, but he was not having that. Finn had suspected that Elijah had left him in the box to try and live out his fantasy as being the older brother. But Finn was going to fight for his place in the family. He had encouraged Kol to do the same so they would not be walked all over like doormats. Esther smiled at her eldest son while the rest glared and rolled their eyes. She was about to say something when Elijah spoke. 

"They have arrived, mother"

The Bennett's had arrived at the Mansion. Lucy parked the black SUV on the gravel, turning off the ignition. She then turned to all of them. "And we have arrived," she said in a light tone, trying to ignore the nervousness building up inside her. All the Bennett's were nervous. What did the Original Witch want with them? Bonnie hoped it was not some sort of trick. She reached over and grabbed her as she was sitting beside Lucy in the front. "Hey, nothing is gonna happen," she reassured, even though she was sick with nerves. Venus and Iridessa smirked from the back seats. "Yeah, if she tries anything shitty-"  only to get interrupted by Shannel who slapped her thigh for her language.

Venus sniggered and then carried on. "We can all take her out! We are Bennett's! We shouldn't be scared of some palm coloured witch bitch!" she spat as she spoke with passion. "In old times, we were Royalty of the supernatural world, and now look at us," she growled. "We aren't going to be intimated by self proclaimed Original Family!" she continued, not caring if anyone heard her. She was going to speak her truth regardless of other's peoples feelings. Facts did not cater to peoples feelings. 

The women pondered her words. They all nodded in agreement. "Yeah," Lucy said at last. "I agree with Vee," she added, ignoring Venus's grumbles of disapproval at the nickname. Then they all got out of the car, walking up the stone path all the way up to Mansion. They then rang the doorbell and waited for someone to arrive.

Esther heard the doorbell and motioned for Finn to open the door. Finn went over to the door and opened it, revealing the grand home. "Hello, ladies," he said with a charming smile, his eyes lighting up playfully. The Bennett women looked at each other before Shannel answered. "Thank you, Finn" she said before walking into the Mansion, the others following and saying their greetings to him before Finn shut the door with a bang.
