TW: Gun

That's when George woke up.

"fuckkkkk." George whispered to himself as he wished this dream was real. He didn't know why but he desperately wished that it was reality. He sat in silence, his thoughts were everywhere. If he didn't like Dream, why did he think about him? George was straight, he's never thought about a man like that...was he straight?

Wilbur's POV

(The Night George Was Taken)

Wilbur sat on the couch in the living room, the music at the party was so loud that he could barely hear his own thoughts. "Where is George he was supposed to be here an hour ago?" Wilbur thought to himself as he turned on his phone and texted George "Hey bro, where are you? You were supposed to be here a little bit ago? Is everything okay?" no answer. Wilbur didn't think about it too much, he might've just stayed home and slept. He got up and went to the kitchen to grab a drink and thought to himself, George doesn't just bail on people like that. He was very consistent with his plans and always showed up even if he wasn't feeling like going. As Wilbur poured the beer into his red solo cup he continued to question, where the fuck was George? He grabbed his phone back out of his pocket and hit the call George button. "This is George! Please leave a message at the beep." as the high pitch squeak played through the phone's speaker, Wilbur started speaking "Hey George, it's will. I was just wondering where you were at? I've been waiting for a little bit. It's fine if you didn't decide to come or something I understand but please call me back when you can! I'm a little bit worried." he pushed the end call button and decided to just party how he usually would. Maybe George would show up or call back. 2 hours later, still no answer or call back so he got in his car and started it up, ignoring his tipsy state. He was going to go to George's dorm to see him.

Wilbur began driving and continued to assure himself, "George is fine, I'm just overthinking." but that's when he recocnised George's car on the side of the empty road, the headlights still on, trunk open, a spare tire strewn on the ground and his phone laying in the grass. "What the fuck." Wilbur mumbled to himself as he parked his car quickly and got out. He opened George's car door to see if he was in there only to be disappointed by nothing. "George!" he screamed. "George WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU??" that's when the tears started rolling down. Where the fuck was George? is he okay? he grabbed out his phone and dialed 911 doing his best to keep the negative assumptions away

George's POV

George laid in his bed, his thoughts were all over the place and he couldn't focus on one thing at a time. "what the fuck is wrong with me?" he scolded himself. The door slightly crept open, his head shot in the direction of the door. Sapnap stood there. "Sapnap!" George yelled, relieved to see that he was okay. "Hey." Sapnap said with a light smile, he seemed different, he was pale, eyes gray and his lips chapped.

He just seemed off.

"Are you okay? How are you feeling?" "I'm fine George. Me and dream talked and stuff. That kiss was a mistake, it didn't mean anything. I just wanted to feel something. Don't take it personally. I don't like you that way." Sapnap had a serious tone. Ouch. Rejection always got the best of George. Even if he's never had feelings for them, every time someone would reject him it would hurt. "It's fine don't worry about it. I didn't really like it anyways." that was a lie. It's the first time he's felt something in years besides pain. "Okay cool. I'm gonna go now. bye." "see ya." George just laid there, a million thoughts running through his head. Why did no one like him? How did he get himself into this situation? he's so lonely. He has no one. He's a disappointment. He feels so empty. His stomach rumbled, he was hungry yet he didn't want to eat as just thinking about food made him want to throw up. Footsteps approached his door and Dream stood in the doorway, staring directly at George when he realized Dream was holding a gun.

Dream's POV

He was going to kill George.

Today was the day, and nothing would change that. Dream walked towards George's bed and stood above him. "What are you doing dream?" George said with a concerned tone. Dream stayed silent. It was the best thing he could do, he didn't want George to beg for his life. He just wanted to make it easy so he held the gun up to George's head. "no no no no PLEASE DONT DO THIS. PLEASE DON'T I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" George's screams were so loud you could probably hear them from miles away. Dream stood there staring blankly at George, showing slight sympathy in his eyes and put his finger on the trigger. It was now or never.

"CLAY PLEASE. I LOVE Y-"

George cut himself off. He couldn't believe what he almost just said. dreams eyes widened, the fact that George said his name and almost said he loved him was incredibly shocking. His finger pushed closer to letting the gun go off, but he couldn't do it. Dream turned around and dropped to the floor, letting go of the gun and hugging his knees to his chest as he let tears roll down his face. It's been so easy to kill his other victims, but George was different. He couldn't do it. Dream could hear George's muffled cries in the background, it hurt him hearing it. Why was he so hesitant to kill George. It's never been this hard, he didn't know what was going on.

George's POV

What did he just say, he almost told dream he loved him. He didn't even feel love for him, he didn't know what he was thinking. George had never been so close to death before and he's never been more scared. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry." dream was panicking whilst George sat in silence, still hearing the muffled cries come from Dream but that's when he saw it. The gun was still laying on the ground. This was George's chance, he shot up from his bed. grabbed the gun and pointed it towards dreams head.

"don't move."
