Everyday is a battle
I'm so tired of the war
I draft up a peace treaty
I fax it to my brain

In hopes peace can be restored
Unfortunately my wish wasn't granted
I've spent all day in silence
Constantly battling my troubling thoughts

Everyone around me can see
There's something troubling me
The crazy thing is even
when they ask me what's wrong

I can't answer them honestly
Even I don't know why my smile fades
While my frown marches across my face
Like a parade

Am I still sane ?
Does that question made me insane ?
Why so much pain ?
Why does everyday have to include rain ?

Yes the flower needs rain to grow
That's only half of the needs
I need sunshine too
All this rain makes me feel like I'm drowning
