KAMINARI'S POV

We all got invites for a Christmas party at the Yaoyorozu house. I accepted, and convinced Kyoka to come as well. Best boyfriend ever, am I right? It upset me a little, not knowing what my own girlfriend wanted for Christmas. I should get to know her a little better, or I'd ruin Christmas for the both of us. "Hey, Kyoka? You wanna go for a quick walk?" I asked. "Yeah, sure." She sounded confused. I put my coat on, handed her hers, and walked out the door.

The sun was setting.

I grabbed Kyoka's hand and pulled her to the top of a hill. You could see the whole city from here. "Woah... Denki, this is amazing." Kyoka breathed. "It's so pretty." "Like you." I replied instinctively. She jumped. I clamped my hand over my mouth and started laughing. I had no idea I'd said that. It was funny, for some reason, that she didn't know she was pretty. "Wha~!? You think I'm pretty?!" she cried. "Duh. Of course." I replied, "Who wouldn't?" She jumped up and hugged me. "This is great. Thank you." We walked back to U.A, and Kyoka must have noticed me shivering (but grinning stupidly). She took off her coat, then her black jacket, then put her coat back on. She handed the jacket to me. When I didn't take it, she draped it over my shoulders. "Wait, Kyoka, you-" "Keep it." she interrupted. My stupid grin got even bigger. "Thanks."

That night, I couldn't fall asleep. I kept thinking of Kyoka. The way she'd lit up when I said she was pretty. She was. She really was. My thoughts shuffled back to Christmas. What the crap was I supposed to get her?! I ruffled my hair anxiously and rolled over. Christmas was almost here. I had to pick something. Right before drifting off, I had an idea. A good one. A great one. A perfect one. For a perfect girl.

JIRO'S POV

No school today. I could sleep in. My mind kept wandering to Denki, so I couldn't get back to sleep. It was kinda nice, though. I sighed and got out of bed. A space on my wall had opened up since I gave Denki my guitar. I rummaged through my closet and grabbed my acoustic one. I contemplated the pros and cons of hanging it, and decided that I should. I did.

My walk with Denki last night was amazing. I found myself smiling the whole morning. Ashido noticed and wouldn't leave me alone. I tried to ignore and block out her questions, but she somehow managed to break through my invisible barrier. "Jiro," she squealed, "What's gotten into you lately? Is it Kami?" I felt myself turn red. "Guess so." I replied. Someone placed their hand on my shoulder. "It totally is." Denki. Ashido smirked. Denki grinned. "See ya, Kamijiro." she giggled, skipping away with all the satisfaction in the world. I spun around and quickly kissed Denki on the cheek. "Morning, Denki." I whispered into his ear. I walked away, but I could see him blushing, both shocked and grinning stupidly. It was nice to have the last word.

The days rushed past me in a blur until Christmas Eve. We all went to Yaomomo's party with the exception of the badly injured Ojiro. I was trying to figure out how Denki felt about that, but failed in futility. Ojiro was getting better, luckily, the last I heard. "Kyoka, you ready?" Denki asked outside my door around six thirty. "Yeah." I joined him as he setted off to Yaomomo's house. "I wonder what she lives like. Her parents are filthy rich." Denki pointed out. I nodded. "Hey, look, we're here." We stopped at a building. It was huge. "What the crap...?"

Inside was even more impressive. Diamond chandeliers and ruby-lined mirror isles. Uraraka must've fainted about six times. "Calm down, Uraraka!" Midoriya kept saying while Iida just stood there, waving his arms stiffly. It was hectic. We had dinner, and Ashido inconveniently made us play yet another game of truth or dare. WHAT WAS WITH HER AND TRUTH OR DARE?! Oh, well. I guess this was okay, though, because the other option was spin the bottle. I didn't know how Denki would react if I ended up having to kiss another boy. "Truth or dare, Ochaco?" Ashido asked hyperly. "Truth." Uraraka replied after a moment's hesitation. "Do you think of Midoriya as more than just a friend?" Both the green-haired boy and the gravity girl turned more red than Kirishima's hair. "A little..." Uraraka mumbled embarrassedly, floating a good six inches off the ground. Midoriya looked like his face was on fire. Mostly everyone found this hilarious. Denki gave me a look like, It was only a matter of time, you know. Ashido looked like the 'king' of the world... at least that's what she said.

"Kaminari, I dare you to kiss any girl in the room... except Jiro." Sero proclaimed. Everyone shot him looks that ranged from angry to surprised to excited. Denki stared at me, asking with his expression if this was okay. I shrugged. "It's just a game. It's fine." I wasn't totally sure what I said was true. I looked away when Denki stood up and planted a quick kiss on Yaoyorozu's cheek. He sat back down next to me and whispered, "Sorry." I shrugged again. "It's fine." I insisted. "Kay, cool. That felt wrong, though. I know I want you." I grinned silently.

Yaomomo made a LOT of popcorn (which was delicious, by the way) and we all settled in for a Christmas movie. Denki pulled me up close next to him, and I let him. There were a lot of separate conversations going on, and I highly doubted anyone was actually paying attention to the movie. Denki turned to me. "Let me let you in on a little secret." He paused. "When I was little, I thought Santa was real and evil and that his reindeer were his slaves." We were both silent before laughing so hard that our stomachs hurt. Everyone was staring at us in confusion. "I swear, I'm not kidding."
