Dera dodge the crowd of people scattered around the beach snaking her way to the cabana Starboy was seated in.
The party started very early in the afternoon and two hours later it was filled to the brim with celebrities, influencers. All the A listed celebrities in the country were present.
Dera juggle the bag of weed around her neck, her own bag and the ice bucket of flirt vodka,hennessy and Ciroc starboy official drink.
From afar she saw him talking to some people, they were all laughing. She bop her head to the loud music even though she was stressed she was still happy the party was going well.
"Here are the drinks you asked for." Dera announce to starboy. She place the drink beside him on a low table.
Starboy pick out a Ciroc bottle,he pour it inside his blue plastic cup.
"Did you reach out to Burna Boy?" Ayo takes a swig of his drink his eyes focused on the raging beach.
So far so good the party was going extremely well which was a surprise not really a surprise because he knew she could do it.
"Yes" Dera nods.
"And?"
"He has a show in London tonight so can't make it but he said he'll be around for your next event." She told him what Burna Boy PA told her few days ago when she called to tell him about the beach party.
Ayo nods, he place the drink on the small stool and lean back on the stretcher. "Okay. Give me my phone."
"Which?"
"The 11"
Dera fish for his iPhone 11 promax from the bag she carried. She hands it to him. He unlocks the phone and type on it.
"Pass me a blunt." Ayo told her dialing Burna number. Even if she told him he still to hear from Burna Boy himself. Dera pass it to him the same time he raise the phone to his ear.
"Starboy!!" Burna hails him on the other side. "Hafa brother." He lit his blunt and puff out smoke, he fold an arm and spoke inaudibly to him.
Dera stood silently and watch him talk to whoever was on the phone. She brought out her own phone and reply her own chat.
