For a few hours we all went and did our own things and then met back up in the mess hall for the speaches for the colour war .

"ATTENTION CAMPERS!!" Kurt shouted which got everyone's attention "WELCOME TO THE COLOUR WAR OF 78'" everyone started screaming snd clapping " SUNNYVALERS HAVE WON ALMOST EVERY COLOUR WAR SO WE MUST NOT BREAK THE STREAK !" All the sunnyvalers started screaming while us shadysiders stayed quiet bc we were done with this bullshit.

Joan then stood up and started speaking " whoop whoop go shadysiders we are the best and we will win" her words slurred since yet again she was high and drunk . While the talks were still happening Tommy passed me a note which said "lake . After the speech . Meet me there" I looked up at him and nodded .

The speaches were done and the games had commenced but me on the other hand was on the way to the lake . Once I had reached the lake I was met by Tommy sat down on a blanket he had collected from the cupboards in the mess hall , after he had acknowledged my presence he stood up snd walked over to me

"well hello there Lila, missing out on the Color war what a bummer," he said sarcastically causing me to laugh

"Hm if I can recall you wanted me here . Now this better be fun or I'll be joining those kids in their hiding spots." I smiled not wanting to join the kids at all, I couldn't think of anything worse

"you bet this will be fun." He replied . We then walked back over to the blanket that was perfectly set on the grass and started to chill watching the water while laughing and getting drunk .

"tonight's been fun." Tommy smiled at me, I was lent up against his shoulder and incredibly drunk. Who knew a counsellor could actually be fun to be around and not some stuck up strict prick. "Can I kiss you Lila?"

I look up at Tommy who's eyes just stare back into mine, I slightly nod my head and before I know it our lips had connected, the kiss was passionate and neither one of us wanted to break apart Until we were interrupted by the one and only Nick Goode followed by Tommys little sister Maggie who never left him alone.

" make out session by the lake at 5:37 am in the morning . Yeah good one guys everyone's looking for you both,"
Nick complained as he walked down towards us.

we both looked at each other and burst out laughing at how ridiculous Nick  sounded , although it was serious we were too drunk

" are you drunk!" Maggie asked from behind Nick i nodded at her which made her sigh

"kurt won't be happy . Lila you know your on your last strike" Nick reminded me but I just let it brush over my shoulders.

"Nick I don't need a constant reminder of what strike I'm on, why don't you think for once that maybe I'm doing it on purpose to get out of here?" I scoffed as Nick was taken back by me arguing back but that was minor I can be worse if I want to be but I didn't feel like arguing with Nick at whatever time they said it was

"Just go back and say I was comforting a camper that was stressed." Tommy suggested, he didn't want to be in any shit for this even though this could get him fired he knew it was worth it but still worth a shot of staying at the camp.

"Tommy be careful man, you don't know what can happen out here at night." Nick sighed but agreed with what Tommy had asked him to say before him and his sister Maggie walked away leaving me and Tommy at the lake

"I think I should head back," I decided before getting up, Tommy following my actions he planted a kiss on my forehead before walking me back to my cabin

"No telling people about tonight not even Ziggy, Lila." He pointed his finger at me knowing it was hard for me to keep things a secret from Ziggy "I mean it."

"Okay okay." I threw my hands up to surrender before closing my cabin door and going to bed.

Going to bed with Tommy slater in my mind.
