"What do you want kurt it's 8 in the morning ?" I asked him, rubbing my eyes from how bright it actually was outside.

"I'm surprised you're awake but anyways vandalising cabins Lila . I'm this close to kicking you out!" He said while holding his fingers really close together but making sure there was a tiny gap

"vandalising who's cabin? What?" I said having no clue to what he was actually on about this time, all the other times I'd been confronted yes it was me but this time it wasn't.

"don't play dumb . You know what you did just like how you stole money , let out the camps animals and graffitied the outhouse stalls with ziggy! Don't act stupid Lila ." Lord did kurt look angry I gave him a confused look.

"Sheila . You graffitied sheilas cabin and wrote words like "whore" and "slag" all over her walls," he rubbed his forehead from the stress I was seemingly causing him.

"um kurt . You know she did that to my cabin though?" He rolled his eyes at me

•your lying Lila I'm not dumb" . He scoffed at me , unbelievable.

"why don't you believe me you asshole" I asked knowing he would never believe a word out of my mouth.

"because all of sheilas friends say they saw you in there doing it." He shouted back

"woah no need to raise your voice man . ye they definitely saw me kurt just like they saw me and ziggy taking money for sure for sure." I flipped him off before walking back into the mess hall but was stopped by him grabbing my wrist "what the fuck kurt . Let go" I said while trying to pull away from his grip

"Your tongue . It's purple we don't give out purple drinks," his face scrunched up from confusion and I just froze.

"is it? Must've been my toothpaste or something I'll sort it out before the kids wake up." Right after I said that the morning alarm went for the kids to wake up , Tommy then walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist which caused kurt to give us a disgusted look

"is there a problem kurt?" Tommy asked

"No not right now Tommy but Lila I'll be back to talk to you with the others later on." Kurt then walked out so I turned around and just buried my head into Tommys chest

"I'm sick of him. He never gives me a break." I twiddled with my fingers as my head rested on Tommys chest , I was angry I own up to shit eventually if I've actually done it but this was different.

"What was he on about?" Tommy asked, eager to know.

apparently I graffitied sheilas walls yet she did that to my cabin and wrote stuff like "whore" all over my wall but of course because I'm a shadysider I get the blame." Tommy could tell I was getting angry so he tried to calm me down

"hey hey hey, he's gone you can calm down a little . We will sort out your walls another day they don't matter . What matters right now is that kids are coming into the mess hall and we need to watch them so I'll talk to you in a bit yeah?" He said waiting for me to reply.

"yeah alright I'll see you soon ." I replied .

I then walked into the mess hall to see this kid named Jeremy crying so I had to do my job and check up on him even though I wasn't a councillor I was older then many of the kids here so I was told to help whenever I could

"everything okay Jeremy?" he looked up at me with tears in his eyes but he quickly wiped them.

"um uh yes everything's fine Lila thanks for asking." He replied while wiping a tear that had just fallen and then sorting his glasses out
