Chapter 3

I wake up to my mother banging on my door telling me, I'm gonna be late. I sigh and climb out of my bed, I go shower and change into gray sweat pants and a white t-shirt. I put my hair in a messy bun and no make up, I grab my bag and phone before walking downstairs.

My mom and jack was sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee, " your 10 minutes late " she says and I nod as I grab my key off the table and walk out the house.

I get in my car and drive to school, I parked in my usual spot. I get out my car and go into the office, i get a late note before walking to Diego's class.

I knock on the door because it was locked, a few second later he opens the door. " you okay " he asks as I hand him my note, " I'll tell you at lunch " I say depressingly as I walk past him.

I go sit in my seat and Desiree smirks at me before getting up and sitting in Diego's chair, " what are you doing? Go get in your seat " Diego says and she looks surprised

I smirk at her as she gets up and gets in her seat. Diego starts his lesson and it was hella boring as usual, I tried my best to pay attention but I just kept wanting to go to sleep.

Once the bell rings, I sigh in relief and get up. " don't forget to turn your homework in to me" Diego says as he sits in his chair.

" come on angel, don't tell me you forgot " Diego sighs and I look down, " detention after school" he says and I nod

I walk out his classroom and go to my second period which is English. I sit down and the teacher starts passing out a pop quiz, I sigh and start doing the test.

The test was actually kinda easy, you just had to read a passage and answer a few questions. I turn my test in and the teacher looks me up and down before grabbing the paper.

He marks a F on it without even looking at it, he hands it back and i scoff. " you didn't even look at it " I shout at him and he looks at the paper

" I just did " he says before turning to look at his computer. I huff and walk back to my seat, I shove the paper into my backpack and cross my arms over my chest.

I sit there and glare at the teacher until the bells rings, I grab my stuff and storm out the classroom. I sigh in relief that I have history next, which means I can go to sleep.

I slept through 3rd and 4th period, I was so happy when it got lunch time. I walked out my biology class and walk to Diego's class, I waited for his class to leave before walking in and locking the door. I turn the lights off and walked over to him, I sat on his desk and he sat in his chair.

" what's happened? You look like you could punch someone " he says chuckling and I roll my eyes as I grab my bag.

" for one, that stupid English teacher gave me a F for no reason. He didn't even look at it, all he did was mark a fucking F on it. " I say as I hand him my test, he looks the test over before doing something on his computer.

" there problem solved " he says, I look and see that he changed my grade to a B

" a B" I say and he chuckles, " well I can't just put an A, that'll look suspicious" he says as he grabs my hand pulling me into his lap straddling him.

"What else happened " he asks and I shake my head, " I slept through 3rd and 4th period " I say and he chuckles

" what happened this morning? " he asks and I look down, " uh, um nothing " I say clearing my throat, " you sure " he asks and I nod
