Chapter 5

Zhao Yunlan brings Shen Wei to his renovated bedroom while pulling the luggage that belonged to Shen Wei to their bedroom at upstairs. Shen Wei just follows as his side while sighting to the surrounding area. Mr. Zhao and Lin just observing on them two from the downstairs. Shen Wei feels a bit nervous to be in this family even though she knows that Mr. Zhao and Lin are nice to her.

''Well, this is our bedroom. We will share the same bedroom but different beds. Dad renovated this bedroom for us to live together. How is it? Do you like our bedroom?'' Zhao Yunlan said with the explanation.

Shen Wei nods with her beautiful smile. Her paler face now didn't hide the beautiful of her face. Zhao Yunlan swallows hard to see this girl is always beautiful.

''Which bed is mine? And where should I arrange my clothes?'' Shen Wei asked.

''You can choose which one you like. I didn't mind of mine,'' Zhao Yunlan assured.

''Then, if that the case, I will choose that bed and this closet. May I?'' Shen Wei asked.

Zhao Yunlan nods agreed.

''So, you want to arrange your clothes by yourself or you want me to call the maid?'' Zhao Yunlan asked back.

''I will do it by myself,'' Shen Wei replied and Zhao Yunlan nods again with his sweet smile.

''Okay then. I will take my shower first,'' Zhao Yunlan said and he walks away with his towel.

Shen Wei sighs in relief as her heart is beating crazily to be alone with Zhao Yunlan in this bedroom. Shen Wei walks to her bed and she leans her tired body on that bed without removing her wedding gown. She is too tired now. Within a second, she already fell to sleep for her tiredness, ignoring all happen in this room or in this house.

Zhao Yunlan finished with his shower and he walks out from the bathroom to ask Shen Wei to take a shower too. But his action stopped to see Shen Wei is sleeping peacefully on the bed with her rim glasses still on her face. Zhao Yunlan shakes his head while walking closer to Shen Wei. He slowly sits at the edge of bed at the side of Shen Wei. Slowly he removes that glasses from Shen Wei's face and he wanted to put it on the table. But unconsciously that glasses fell off on the floor, making that glasses broken for two.

''Oh, my god! What have I done!'' Zhao Yunlan scolded to himself while sighting to Shen Wei if that girl woke up.

Shen Wei didn't wake up for a tiny bit. Zhao Yunlan sighs in relief. But then he feels guilty to break the glasses of Shen Wei on the first day of their marriage life. Shen Wei is too tired to wake up and she just drowning in her deep sleeping. Upon seeing Shen Wei didn't wake up, Zhao Yunlan moves to the other side to remove the socks of Shen Wei to make his wife to sleep comfortably. Then, he moves closer to the face of his wife and he lands a soft kiss on her forehead.

''Sleep well, my wife,'' Zhao Yunlan whispered before he leaves Shen Wei to wear his clothes and he walks out from the bedroom to be with his dad in the living room.

''Where is Wei? Is she tired?'' Mr. Zhao worryingly asked.

''Maybe. She is sleeping deeply now on her bed,'' Zhao Yunlan replied as he took the seat in front of his dad.

''Oh, let her rest, Yunlan. Don't make her tired, okay? Now she is your wife. So, it's your responsibility to take care of her whether in this house or at the outside, okay?'' Mr. Zhao reminded.

''Dad, why are you always asked me to take care of her, take care of her? She is a grown girl, dad. She can take care of herself. Unless she is sick. Is she sick, dad?'' Zhao Yunlan curiously asked.
