Chapter 6

Today is the turn for Zhao Yunlan to sleep in Shen family. Mrs. Shen welcomed Zhao Yunlan with her open heart and she hugs Zhao Yunlan tightly. Shen Wei chuckles to see Zhao Yunlan that having a red face to be hugged by her mother. But then, her chuckle stopped to see Zhao Yunlan's eyes that started to be red for the tears when Mrs. Shen released him from the hug. Zhao Yunlan quickly wipes his tears, made Shen Wei and Mrs. Shen frown.

''I am sorry. I didn't have a hug from a woman who called as mother for a long time ago. My mom was died when I was a child. So, when you hugged me, I feel like my mom is back,'' Zhao Yunlan honestly told made Mrs. Shen quickly hugs him once again and she pats on his back lovingly.

''Oh, poor you, Yunlan! From now onwards, please treat me as your mother, Yunlan. Not only your mother-in-law but the real mother of yours, okay?'' Mrs. Shen assured.

''Mother, don't add his sadness with your words,'' Shen Wei interrupted and then Zhao Yunlan released the hug from Mrs. Shen before he wipes again his tears.

Mrs. Shen gets Shen Wei and she hugs her daughter lovingly too. Shen Wei can't help to cry a little to have a hug from her mother especially when her mother whispered those words.

''Are you okay to live with him?'' Mrs. Shen whispered.

Shen Wei nods.

''Just a bit tired yesterday but I got a rest with my sleep after we arrived at home,'' Shen Wei whispered back.

Mrs. Shen nods understand. Then she releases Shen Wei from her hold.

''Anyway, Wei, your father still not renovate your bedroom yet. And I didn't have a time to clean the guestroom this morning. So, Yunlan, can you wait and let me to clean the guestroom first?'' Mrs. Shen asked with her guilty feeling.

''Err... It's okay, mother. I can sleep with Wei in her bedroom. Please don't worry, okay?'' Zhao Yunlan assured made Mrs. Shen looks at Shen Wei that having a blushing face now.

''But you made a condition that you will not sleep...''

''Mother, let him, okay? I don't mind,'' Shen Wei quickly cut her mother's words as she didn't want to embarrass her husband for the conditions her husband put but lastly broke it by himself.

Upon seeing Shen Wei's pleading eyes, finally Mrs. Shen defeated. She didn't say further. She guesses that something happened in between this married couple. She thought that this married couple is already slept together. Maybe...

''Jiejie!'' Yezhun shouted from the upstairs and she runs to downstairs before she hugs tightly her twin sister made Zhao Yunlan startled as well as Mrs. Shen.

Zhao Yunlan is more startled when Yezhun keeps kissing Shen Wei's face including those attractive lips of hos wife making his poor wife feels uncomfortable. He clears his throat to stop Yezhun's doing over his wife and finally Mrs. Shen pulls Yezhun from Shen Wei.

''Yezhun, don't do like that to your jiejie. She has a husband now, okay? You should limit your teasing to your jiejie now,'' Mrs. Shen scolded.

Yezhun grins to her mother as she released the hug and kisses on her sister. She turns to Zhao Yunlan before she winks to her brother-in-law for a hidden meaning. Zhao Yunlan just silently smiles but inside his heart, he is uncomfortable to see Yezhun is teasing him using Shen Wei, making him jealous that Shen Wei loves Yezhun for her half life too besides him.

''Jiejie, are you okay to live with Yunlan? Is he tortured you at there? Hurt you maybe?'' Yezhun provoked on Zhao Yunlan but just got a slap from Mrs. Shen on her back.

''Don't be rude to your brother-in-law!'' Mrs. Shen scolded again.

''I didn't, mother. I am just asking, okay? Who knows he hurt jiejie behind our back,'' Yezhun said.
