Dig Up

Everyone got up early to get ready for the hunt. The betas were excited as they were running around with the reasoning of warming up for the hunt.

"I never thought we will be going to hunt together this soon with the state we start our pack." Chan said as he came to sit beside Jackson.

Jackson was excited but at the same time he was scared as he never phased in concious state also he never phased after their day at the Alpha land. 'What if the alphas think that I am not good for them or I can't stand on my own'

"Why our omega look so depressed? Do you feel sick or anything?" Han asked as he took Jackson's other side.

"No guys, I am just thinking...?" Jackson asked doubtfully.

"Which is not good. We are going to enjoy today, okay?" Chan assured him.

"Hey, can you tell me-" Jackson was cut off by Jb calling for them.

"Guys, are you ready to go?" He called them. Even Papa and Mama Wang also there to send them off.

"Jake, you have to be careful in the forest and stay with them all the time. Please take care of him." Mama Wang said.

"Mom, now he is also part of our pack, we will take care him." Jinyoung assured her.

"Jack, you alright? Are you sick or something?" Mark asked concerned.

"No alpha, it is just I never phased in my concious state, I really have no idea how to phase." He confessed suddenly.

"It's not a big problem Jack, just think about the power you're going to get when you phase, just watch me." Bambam said as he phased into his wolf form.

"See, it's not that hard Jack." Lay said as he also did the same. But to Jackson it didn't seem to be working.

"How about you try our technique?" Hyunjin asked.

"Yeah, think about you're in danger or some kind of fear, it works too." Han said as he concentrated with Jackson. But only Han phased.

"Is there a way different way to phase for omegas?" Jinyoung asked as he turned to Mama Wang.

"Actually yes, alphas phase when they just think about getting more power and betas when they need to feel safe or when they are in some kind of danger. But for omegas it is completely opposite, they phase when they sense some danger to their pack, they phase to save them. Like..." Before Mama Wang could finish papa Wang phased suddenly and lunged towards I.N. who fell on his ass in fear. Jackson wasted no time as he launched himself between them and phasing in the process. He felt his bones crunching but the pain felt familiar and reassuring unlike the first time. The moment his feet hit the ground Jackson is ready to fight the whole world. "Like this." Mama Wang finished.

Papa Wang smiled and moved back, Jackson bowed in apology. "Don't be sorry, it is a good thing to know that my son is in a care of great omega." She smiled as he petted Jackson like he is not towering over her in his wolf form. Soon everyone started to phase to their wolf form.

"Whoa, Jackson is the big one among you?" Jake said surprised. Jackson rubbed against him making him giggle. Yibo stepped forward to get down so that Jake can claim on him. "Hyung, can I ride on Jackson, no offense but his fur looks soft and he is the big one in here." Jake asked hesitantly.

Yibo looked at Jackson, Jackson crouched down, Jake smiled as he claimed on top of him. They all started to take off as they ran through the woods with the goodbye from papa and Mama Wang. They ran with Jb leading them. Lay and Yibo at the back with betas surrounding Jackson and Jake secured in the middle.

They had fun in hunting as their animal self took over even Jackson managed to hunt a deer with Jake on his back, it soon starts to get dark, Jb stopped them and they all started to lay down under a tree. Jackson get on his knees to let Jake down. He also phased back to his human form, "what happened, Jack?" Jake asked with worried voice.

"Nothing, this is my second time phasing, so I can't control it more than this." Jackson smiled at him.

"You did good, Seun-ah" Jinyoung assured him through their link which suddenly seem to work more properly. Jackson smiled and all of them where shocked to hear the first thing through their link and howled excited.

"I also soon want to phase and find my pack. You guys are great with each other." Jake said smiling at them.

They all settled under a tree with Jackson and Jake at the centre with betas around them and the alphas on the outer side. Everyone snuggled together and their link improved a lot as now they can even hear each other's thought now and then when it is really loud or contain much more emotion. Jake also enjoyed every moment with them. He never felt left out as they included him in every way possible.

When the middle of the night hits, Jackson felt stirred awake from sleep. He felt kinda strange as something is not right. He got up trying not to wake any of the others. He felt like someone is in the forest beside them.

What he didn't expect was to get pushed down to the ground by the alpha wolf he never thought about seeing in his life again... His ex owner...
