Rias' POV:
John Silver is scary.
That's my opinion of him. It was formed the moment he managed to checkmate Sona with his weird blackmail scheme.
He is definitely not a normal human. He acts and behaves more devilishly than most devils in hell! Blackmailing other people into doing things for him, scaring them into joining his club.
Not to mention our familiars can't spy on him.
He not only lives on the last floor of a hotel, which means that any land familiars can't get to him, but he also has several warding talismans and crosses around his whole hotel! Meaning the flying familiars can't get close enough to get a good look at what he is doing! It's like he knows of the supernatural!
But that can't be true!
If he knew about the supernatural, then he wouldn't be threatening us in school because he'd know we could easily crush him! I scouted him like I did everyone else in this school, and his magical prowess falls all the way to the bottom. He has talent in nothing and also has no sacred gear, someone like that can't thrive in the supernatural, he'd be killed and crushed immediately!
So there's definitely no way he is part of the supernatural, and there is no way he knows about it either, because if he did then the several agents from each faction would hunt him down and either kill him or erase his memories.
He is insufferably annoying!
"TOOOOUUUUUCHHHHHDOOOOWWWWNNNN!!!" I heard someone yell from outside. I got curious and looked out of the window, there I saw what was happening in the football field the school was forced to make yesterday.
It was ready, except the goals were made of wood because we didn't have time to make metal ones.
I looked down and saw the score, we were losing pretty bad, and it was only the first half, there was no way of victory.
"Kuoh is in a tight spot, there's no way that they can win with such a point difference!"
Wait, what's our team name?
I couldn't see it from where I stood, so I squinted my eyes and used my handy super devil vision and saw a giant red bat with huge eyes.
"Kuoh Devil Bats?" I questioned, deadpanning at the name. There was no way that wasn't intentional, did one of my peerage suggest that name? When did our school mascot change?
I stomped my way downwards to the field and saw them playing the next half. Our team had just asked for a time-out.
I walked towards the manager and didn't see him anywhere.
Where did that jerk go?
I looked everywhere and still couldn't find him!
"Gremory-san!" I heard one of the players call my name. I turned to look at them and saw them taking off their helmet.
"Silver-san said you might come and look for him." said the student, making me nod. Of course, he knew I'd come to look at where he was.
"Well, where is he?" I asked, looking around and trying to see just where that guy might be.
"He told me, to tell you, that you should enjoy the show, and that he's out recording and taking some info on our possible next opponents," he said, making me sigh and turn towards the game. We were losing pretty bad.
