This is my first time writing Kiyotaka, so I ask you for your forgiveness in advance.
Once again, thank you @imagine_aincrad for the inspiration!
Chapter dedicated to @SyougoKinugasa and @RaysonLolis69!
Kiyotaka POV
The first day of my high school life didn't actually go so well. From a scene on the bus to a boring entrance ceremony and an annoying and rude neighbor, I was so bummed that I decided to go to my room and relax. Before that, though, I wanted to take a look around the dorms – this school overlooks the ocean, and there are many spots that are too great to be missed.
It's true that I want friends, but a little time alone can't hurt, can it? And there's a chance for a fateful encounter, or so the animes I watched at Matsuo-san's as part of my research on youth say.
Especially the docks, since my dorm building is directly facing them, and the pier to watch the sunset from – with a cute girl in your arms it would be nicer.
Hey, don't look at me like that, okay? I'm a completely healthy, normal and average teenage boy who wants a peaceful life.
Nazuna POV
Another day, the same routine. Miyabi was particularly excited for the new first years' arrival – new playthings for me to enjoy, he said. Seriously, sometimes I ask myself why did Horikita-senpai let him into the Student Council.
I try to be the voice of reason whenever I am with him, but with Horikita-senpai graduating this year, his impatience is becoming increasingly difficult to contain. And don't get me started on Kiriyama! Losing to Miyabi once and then giving up all of his dignity! I get it, you win some and you lose some, but a real man fights back!
Sigh.
Real men, huh? I'm still waiting for one...a prince to save me from this life of mine, and from myself. People, especially girls, see me constantly at Miyabi's side and they resent and hate me, seeing only the surface.
Oh, I wish I was at President Nagumo's side! The things I'd do! They say. I'd gladly swap places with you, it's really babysitting a power-hungry, backstabbing, shameless and overall repulsing 17-year-old who's the idol of the school because he said so!
Holding the pendant that is my late mother only memento, I look at the sun set and I sigh for the...I lost count of how many times I sighed today, and it's just the first day of school. I'm a second year now, I feel like time is running out.
Am I biting more than I can chew, Mom?
Can this wosh of mine, to find a real man, a man I can fall in love with, come true?
Lowering my gaze, I hear someone's footsteps and I turn around almost snapping my neck, expecting Miyabi and praying every God in existence for it not to be the case.
"Pardon me, did I startle you?"
It was a boy I've never seen before, with brown hair and golden eyes. He seemed quite tall and slim too, at first glance.
For some reason, I felt entranced by those eyes of his, as if I could not stop looking at them.
"Are you okay? You're staring..."
!
Oh no! I was caught staring, it's so embarrassing!
"Ah! N-no, everything is fine! Yes! Totally fine, haha..."
Kiyotaka POV
I was intrigued by this girl's behiavior. Perhaps a senpai? I memorized every first year's face, and I'm pretty sure she wasn't at the entrance ceremony. She looks beautiful, in a different kind of way from Horikita, a beauty you feel warm and comfortable with.
