The woman in the room was beautiful and elegant.

Seeing that William Walton had brought a woman, she was startled.

She stood up and revealed a warm smile.

"William, this is …"

William Walton naturally pursed his lips: "This is Benjamin Walton's home tutor, just call her Miss Green."

After the woman heard this, she laughed lightly: "So it's Miss Green. Hello, I'm Carol Wright."

Laura nodded warmly at the other party: "Hello, Miss Wright."

William Walton sat down, "Have a seat."

Laura sat down next to him.

Carol Wright shifted her gaze away from her and looked at William Walton.

"I was even worried that inviting you out for a meal would affect your work."

"No, but I brought Miss Green here, you don't mind, right? After all, I made an appointment with Miss Green first."

Carol Wright shook her head and laughed: "That won't happen, as long as Miss Green doesn't mind, I have already ordered all the dishes that you like, I just don't know what Miss Green would like to eat, I will have someone bring over a menu for Miss Green to see."

"I'm good, Miss Wright. I'm not picky with food."

William Walton's hand naturally stroked twice on Laura Green's head, and he said with eyes full of love: "She's not picky with food. She eats everything that I like."

Carol Wright's smile froze because of his action.

Then she smiled: "Then that's good, Miss Green, you have to eat more."

Laura Green was awkward.

This sudden act of rubbing her head had given her quite a fright.

During dinner, William Walton would occasionally give her food, he was so gentle like her boyfriend.

Carol Wright did not speak too much, she only gracefully ate her meal.

However, sometimes she would glance at Laura without revealing any emotion in her eyes.

After dinner, they left the restaurant together.

William Walton embraced Laura's shoulders with one hand and brought Carol Wright to the side of the car.

Carol Wright turned around and looked at her, then said softly, "Miss Green, can I have a few words with William in private?"

"Sure, then I'll go back to the car first."

She turned around and walked towards William Walton's car.

After she left, Carol Wright bit her lips and looked at William Walton with red eyes: "How have you been recent?"

"Pretty good."

"Don't use this method to make me angry anymore, I don't want to make you suffer."

William Walton glanced to another side and did not look at her: "I am not angry at you, I truly feel that Miss Green is not bad, don't you think so?"

"William, I understand. I know you did it because of me …"

William Walton looked up and smiled: "You should go home. I still have to take her back to school, there's a meeting in the afternoon."

He opened the door for her.

Carol Wright sighed, lowered her eyes, said "I'm sorry" and got in the car to leave.

Returning to the car, she crossed the arms and smiled mischievously at him.

William Walton frowned unhappily: "What are you laughing about?"

"You like her, right?"

William Walton looked at her, and his eyes turned cold.

She pursed her lips: "Yes you do, you brought me here to provoke Miss Wright , right? You don't have to do that. She likes you as well. "

"What do you know? Don't speak nonsense to me anymore."

With a cold face, he started the car and drove away.

In the future?

They won't see each other again.

She didn't want to have too much contact with such a big figure.

Her mother had said that rich men were unreliable.

If she met a rich man, she had to hide as far away as possible.

She did not want to repeat the same mistake because she had learnt a lesson from Avery.

Of course, she might be overthinking in this case.

Knowing that he had someone he liked, she felt more relaxed.

At least, she wouldn't need to be too alert.
