He helped Laura get up and led her to the tree.

Her body leaned against the tree.

Seeing that she had steadied herself, William Walton walked over to the flowerbed, picked up a brick from the side of the road, and smashed it onto the window of the shop.

The sound of glass shattering was enough to frighten her.

She stood by the tree in a daze as she watched William Walton take out that little bear from the window side, walk to her side, and hand it over to her: "Now, am I a man who keeps his promises?"

She received the little bear and tightly hugged it in her arms as she looked at William Walton foolishly.

When the driver in the car heard the rumbling sound, he quickly got out of the car and looked at Mr. Walton.

What's going on?

His Third Master had been strict with himself for half his life, why did he betray the sect for the sake of Miss Green?

He looked at her with his lips curling into a smile.

"Get in the car?"

Laura nodded.

The two of them got into the car, and the driver got into too.

William Walton said: "You stay outside and handle it."

"Alright, Mr. Walton."

In less than twenty minutes, the shop owner arrived.

Seeing her shop's broken glass, she burst into a fit of rage and said to the driver, "You guys just want to buy a bear, right? Is there even a need to destroy the shop? I'm calling the police."

William Walton touched her head: "Sit obediently in the car and don't move about, I'll be right back."

He got out of the car, took out a cheque and passed it to the arrogant shopkeeper.

"This is for your glass window. In this business, you will only earn and not lose."

The other person looked at the sum on the cheque and was startled.

However, she straightened her neck and said, "This glass of mine is very expensive. I don't take this bit of money seriously."

"Is that so?"

He looked at the driver, "Call the police, let the police intervene in this matter. When the time comes, we will compensate them according to the amount that the police have approved. If it can be settled with less than twenty thousand, why should I spend three hundred thousand?"

Just as he was about to put away the cheque, the shop owner hurriedly took it over.

"I still have things to do tonight, so I don't have time to accompany you guys and wait for the police. Let's forget about today's matter. Don't be so impulsive next time."

The shopkeeper took the cheque , put it in her bag, and left.

Just as William Walton was about to get on the carriage, the driver shouted: "Ah, Miss Green, where are you going?"

Hearing the voice, William Walton turned around to see that Laura had already gotten off the car.

Hearing the driver call her, she looked back at the two of them, let out a burp, and ran.

Seeing that, William Walton immediately chased after her.

"Laura."

She looked back and shouted as she ran, "Don't chase me, I don't have any money."
