It's been more than 40 years since Y/n last saw Five. As time went on Y/n and The Handler's bond grew stronger they were like mother and daughter now. Y/n became one of the greatest assassins that worked at The commission.
She took out anyone that messed up the timeline. She used her powers to her advantage.
After years of not seeing Five one day, The Handler noticed Y/n needed some help so she went out to find him.
{ Five }
It's been years since I last saw Y/n. I continued my way trying to find something. Dolores kept me company although I yearned for something more. I grew old and just stopped walking one day.
I poured myself a glass of wine before sitting near Dolores. I chuckled "Do you remember that uh, little mansion just outside the city limits. Where we- Yeah." I laughed "Well it turns out the wine cellar was untouched. Picked up a few cases of your favorite Bordeaux" I said chugging the whole thing. 'You drink too much!' Dolores complained. "Ah, that's an exaggeration. I don't drink too much. You know, I work hard all day. Why would you even say that?"
I heard some rubble falling so I quickly grabbed my gun and pointed it in the direction. I saw a woman waving over at me. She was dressed in all black and holding a suitcase. She stepped towards me. "Who the hell are you?" I yelled at her. "I'm here to help." She said stepping closer to me.
"Tell me why I shouldn't put a bullet through your head right now?" "Because If you did, you wouldn't hear the offer I'm about to make you. Which would be rather tragic given your current circumstances." she took her sunglasses off and sat down. I put the gun down. "I work for an organization called the Commission. We are tasked with the preservation of the time continuum through manipulation and removals."
"I don't understand," I told her. "Sometimes people make choices that alter time. Free will don't get me started. When that happens we dispatch one of our agents to eliminate the threat." I quickly pointed my gun at her again. "No, no no no. You misunderstand me. You're not a target. You're a recruit. I've come to offer you a job Number Five, we've had our eye on you for quite some time. And we think you have a lot of potential."
'Why me?' I thought "Your survival skills have made you quite a celebrity back at headquarters. That and your ability to jump through time." She took a drag from her cigarette. "You're saying that I could actually leave here. Go back?"
"In return for five years of service once your contract is done you can retire to the time and place of your choosing with a pension plan to boot." She finished. "If you can alter time. Why not just stop all this from ever happening?" I asked.
"Well that's quite impossible I'm afraid. You see all of this it was supposed to happen" she said looking around. "That's insane. The end of everything?" "Not everything just the end of something." She said mysteriously. "So do we have an agreement?" She asked holding her hand out. I looked towards Delores. "How do I know I can trust you?" I asked. "just ask Y/n We have her over there at headquarters." She smirked.
"Fine" I shook her hand and she took me to the commission.
{ y/n }
Mom took me into her office to walk to me. "Y/n I have a very special surprise for you," she said smiling. "What is it?" I asked. "Send him in" she spoke into the mic. I sat there confused. A man walked into the room. "Say hello to your new partner." I stood up and held my hand out. "I'm Y/n pleasure" He just stood there in awe. I looked at mom awkwardly. "What is he doing?" I whispered. "Y/n it's me i-it's Five," He said grabbing me and shaking me.
My eyes widened. "Five?" He nodded. I engulfed him in a hug. "I missed you so much," I said sniffling. "I missed you too," he said holding me. "Oh mom thank you for finding him," I said hugging her as well.
Five and I decided to catch up and grab lunch. "I barely even recognized you with your beard" I laughed at him. "You look the same but different at the same time," he said examining me. "That's old age for you" I joked. "So The Handler what is she your new mom?" he asked taking a sip of coffee.
"Well, a few months after we split up she found me and took me here. She experimented on me and now I can do this" I focused on his cup of coffee and made it levitate. "Impressive," he said. "How do I know you aren't faking it," he said cockily. I grabbed his arm and took him outside. There were empty boxes scattered around the place. I blasted all of them proudly. "Believe me now?" I asked. He nodded.
"So I heard we're partners," he said "yeah we are," I said awkwardly kicking some rocks on the ground. "So do you know when our first mission is?" He asked me. "Well I heard in a few weeks because you're going to be getting training and learn how to use a gun and stuff" I replied sitting down on a bench.
He nodded and looked around taking everything in. "Why didn't you try looking for me?" He asked out of the blue. I was speechless. "I did. I mean I couldn't do much but I tried. I asked- well more like I begged The Handler to help me try and find you. She said if I let myself be experimented on then she would find you." I sighed.
"Well, thanks I think?" He laughed. "Well, your training begins today so be prepared they don't hold back." I joked. "Got it," he said nervously. I got up and walked back to my room. 'I can't believe he's back!' I thought. "Oh Enzo I just wish you could see me now," I said smiling. I'm just so glad he's back.
I went to watch him train. I saw him using a gun. "Impressive right? He's a fast learner" Mom said checking him out. "Very but he's always been a fast learner and super smart" I admired him. Mom told me I had to help him train and practice fighting so I did.
"Hit me," I said. "I'm not gonna-" I interrupted him by slapping him. "Act like a bitch get slapped like a bitch. Now hit me." He tried to punch me but I stopped him and threw him to the ground. He got up quickly. We kept going for a few more hours until we both got tired. "Okay you did good," I said giving him a water bottle. "Thanks," he said.
"Well your first day is tomorrow but you'll be with me so you should be fine," I said cockily. He rolled his eyes playfully. We got dinner together and ate outside. "What did you do all these years?" I asked him. "I just accepted my fate. I thought I was gonna run out of food someday and just die," he admitted. "Oh shit," I said. He nodded. We continued talking for the rest of the night before heading to bed.
