Friend in mirror

I have a friend in the mirror,
Depressed and tired,
A normal life was something,
She says she had always desired.

Life has been hard on her she says,
It would be better to die,
Getting bullied were hours of her days,
Liars around her, always loved to lie.

Life was hell, she had once been told,
There was no one, to have her consoled.

My friend in the mirror tells me to be strong,
Because she is the only one who knows,
What I have been hiding for so long.
The mask of happiness I had put on,
Had once and for all gone.

I try to smile again, and live my life happily now,
But it looks like, I have forgotton how to smile somehow.

My friend in the mirror doesn't smile too,
Looks like she knows what I have been through.

But that's good,
She doesn't laugh on my distress, Or cry on my success.

She is a best friend I've always had,
She never lets me be sad.
Jokes on people who hurt me,
It's my turn now, to be bad.
