"Do you want coffee?" When Sara asks me this question, I'm confused and, at the same time, wonder whether there's more at stake than a simple drink.

I just nod, wanting to savor it until the last sip. It's widely believed, at least on Earth, that coffee usually prevents people from falling asleep at work. I guess I have to try to check if this theory is actually true.

This is why, as Sara serves me the drink, I take every sip slowly, delighted at the bitter aftertaste and the inebriating smell. This one in particular must've been toast so well.

At one point, she asks me, "Do you usually have coffee in your homeland?" She knows that I'm not human, that I come from a very distant planet, but nothing much, to be honest.

I shake my hand. "Unfortunately no," I answer, still maintaining my composure. After all, after a cup of coffee, everything will become a lot better, right?

"I understand. This is why you have to savor it, as if it were the last thing you ever try in your life," she explains. She's right. I've taken too many things for granted in my life.

I guess I'll go back to Prima 6 with a far different approach to life.
