Y/n's POV

We were in the locker room getting ready for our game. I was a little nervous to be honest, but we'll be fine. It really sucks that Adam isn't playing with us though. I got the last of my gear on and joined the ready people who were talking by the door. In a few minutes everyone was ready so we skated out, for a school this crowd was rowdy. I searched the stands and quickly found Varsity, and Adam clapping for us. We made it towards the box with Orion trying to group us.

"Gather around, let's go, hustle up." He said waving us in. "Alright think defense. Alright hands in here we go." He said putting his hand in the center. We put ours in the center and the team started quacking.

"Hey hey hey hey hey hey! What the hells that? Knock it off!" Coach said stopping us. "Alright go team on two. Here we go, one, two.." The team pathetically completed the 'go team'
We began skating out onto the ice, I was a starter. I got on the right of Charlie facing the Bear player. I looked to Adam and gave him a wink. He smiled like an idiot. The commentator was droning on about Charlie not being captain, which made me feel even worse. I wanted this 'C' on my jersey off. Charlie won the puck and began skating towards the net. Fulton checked a dude or two and Charlie made it to the goal and hit it in. The buzzer went off earning us a point. We celebrated, like normal teams do when they score a point. Until we got yelled at by Orion to act like we've scored before. Once again we got the puck in the face off and Russ ended up getting it. He did his Knucklepuck to the goal knocking the goalie flat on his back. I don't know who finished getting the puck in. The bears got the puck this time, but we quickly got it back. Luis began skating down way to fast for him to be able to stop. I went faster cause I knew Luis was either gonna have a concussion or be dazed. He was approaching the goal and hit it in. A second later he shot over the goal and flew into the boards.

"You gotta be kidding." I muttered as I went to help Luis up. We helped Luis up and he looked like he was high. We told him he scored, congratulating him. For some reason they all let go of him and he hit the ground. Me and Russ got him up and took him to the box, cause he's way out of it. Soon enough we had points racked up. I was on the bench and watching Dwayne mess with the Bears. He was showing off and just simple hit the puck in like a baseball.

Averman passed it to Charlie, who passed it to Fulton right before a player hooked him. Fulton got the puck and hit it in. Honestly I thought it wasn't gonna go in as the player caught it and spun like 10 times. Except he fell over throwing the puck in. We went over to Fulton and cheered.

"I spun that dude!" Fulton said hyped. We went back to playing after that bear play recovered. Averman was going down the ice hitting the puck back and forth quickly. The goalie watched, not noticing Averman let it fall back to Fulton. The goalie realized it when Averman spread his legs and Fulton shot the puck in. The buzzer went off and we celebrated. I looked to Adam and noticed that Varsity kept giving him dirty looks when he cheered for us. I really hate them, except scooter of course. There was only like 10 seconds left when Charlie had the puck. He came to a stop and hit it in with 2 seconds left. The buzzer went off as the period ended. The score was 9-0, us. The third period began. It was like the Bears had a rebirth or somethin. They were doing good defense, and ended up getting it from Charlie. Sooner than I expected they had 2 points down. Coach was getting mad at us, but I guess he's got a point. I looked to Adam to see him looking down as varsity had smug looks. Coach did a line change after the 4th point was scored by them. This wasn't gonna be good. They scored 2 more point when Charlie was head on with the player.

"Make him make the first move Conway!" Coach yelled. Charlie did not make him make the first move. They scored and I let out a sigh. I began skating towards the middle when I seen Charlie break his stick on the goal.
