"Izuku!" You practically screamed as you ran to the young boy. He had tried to stop Katsuki once again, but once again, the quirkless boy lost. This time, Izuku had been standing up for another young boy being picked on.
Dropping to your knees, you helped Izuku sit up. His face was bruised and he looked dazed.
"Izuku, how many fingers am I holding up?"
"Moo?"
You let out a long sigh, "Back to the hospital we go."
You hoisted the older six year old boy on your back. Stumbling a little you carried him. Once he had stopped wiggling in a daze, you sprinted, running towards the hospital. Luckily, it wasn't too far away. Only a couple blocks. It was times like these you wished you had a quirk.
The automatic door slid open as soon as they sensed you.
Looking around, you realized how dreary the hospital looked. It was depressing. The walls were painted a boring, light grey. The floors were a somewhat white colour. Brown chairs were lined up in rows, a fair chunk of them occupied.
Making your way up to the nurses office for checking Izuku's vitals, she immediately recognized you.
"Izuku Midoriya again! This has to be the third time this week!"
"I know! I think he has a concussion this time."
The nurse, Milinda, sighed. Picking up a small torch, she flashed it in his eyes. "They aren't dilating. He has a concussion. Will you stay with him for a bit? He will have to get seen immediately."
You nodded your head. Milinda was kind enough to bring you a wheelchair so you could roll the dazed Izuku around. At least you wouldn't be throwing out your back.
Before you left the room, you turned to face Milinda once again, "May I borrow the phone? I have to call Izuku's mom."
"Sure. Go right ahead sweetie."
You smiled at her, dialing Inko's number. She picked up on the third ring.
"Hello?"
"Hi Ms Midoraya. It's (Y/n). Izuku's got a concussion and I brought him to the hospital. Think that you can make it here?"
You could hear a sharp gasp on the other end of the phone, "I'll be right there! I'll call your parents to let them know where you are."
You mumbled out a small thanks, distracted by Izuku mumbling in an incoherent way.
"Iisgoingtobeasuperherowithoutaquirk." (Translation: "I is going to be a superhero without a quirk.")
Yep, no clue what he was talking about.
Though, you knew Izuku like the back of your hand, so you had a fair idea what he was mumbling about. He was probably muttering about becoming the next All Might or something similar. In a way, it was truly adorable.
Wheeling him to the waiting area, you sat in a brown unoccupied chair. Extremely quickly, you were both called into a free room. Other people in the waiting room grumbled about how he didn't even look injured, yet he got to go in first.
You sighed.
After all, this did happen every time.
You followed the new nurse all the way to Izuku's hospital room. As you did, you noticed how stunning this nurse was. Her hair went slightly past her shoulders and was a beautiful blonde colour. There were no visible knots or tangles. Her fingers were long and slender, nails painted with a vibrant red colour.
