Sebastian felt bad for you. He truly did. The way that you sneezed from your allergies and full sinuses - it wasn't a comfortable situation what-so-ever.

Even Ciel seemed to be taking pity on you. Despite your only brief employment in the Phantomhive manor, the young Earl decided to give you the afternoon off after seeing your red rimmed eyes.

"Good grief Sebastian," Ciel rearranged the papers in front of him as he absentmindedly spoke, "that poor girl."

The demon suppressed a chuckle as occupied himself with dusting, "Indeed master. Allergies are unfortunate."

"Quite. Is there anything possible to ease the symptoms?" The scraping of the young boy's nails on his itchy skin filled the room for a moment, "God don't tell me I'm allergic to something as well!"

"I do believe it's the pollen master. It's quite irritating."

"Well this is a nuisance! Would you-" Ciel cut himself off in the middle of his sentence with a thunderous sneeze. This time the older man found it impossible to suppress his smirk.

"I'm glad you find this amusing, Sebastian."

"Sorry sir," Sebastian bowed with an infuriating smirk still lining his features, "you humans are just so odd. You've designed so many things and have strived to make yourself invulnerable, however a little substance from flowers and you all crumble. You are a species obsessed with carnage. I suppose that's what it means to be human."

"Whatever," the Earl dismissively waved his hand, "get out of here. Your disturbing the dust isn't helping me."

"Very well sir," Sebastian exited towards the door and bowed once again. A little bit of free time would be nice for a change.

If you could itch your eyeballs, you would. Every inch of your skin felt as if it was on fire. Your nose was completely congested and your chest ached. Badly.

Maybe you would chance shoving your hand into your mouth just to itch your inflamed tonsils.

At the moment, you were ever so grateful for your room. It was your sanctuary away from all your allergy triggers. You bit down on your nail and tried to breathe. The snot in your nose almost made it impossible to do so.

You flopped onto your stomach for a moment before groaning. You desperately needed some sort of medication but - sadly enough - Bard had taken the last pill only hours earlier. Maybe you could take the carriage to London. The apothecary would have something.

"Ugh," you sighed, "I can't even see! How am I supposed to get my medication!"

Unbeknownst to you, your door was cracked open ever so slightly - and someone lingered outside listening to your little monologue.

Sebastian couldn't help but sigh as he listened to your rambling. He felt sorry for you - he truly did. But quite frankly, he didn't feel any personal care.

Regardless, Sebastian had his principle. He wasn't the kindest person nor was he a saint - far from it in fact - but your suffering was keeping you from your duties. And he didn't want to be taking them on.
