Summer love [Sebastian x Reader]

Headcannons:

♡ Sebastian's more of a winter person, you a summer. While he prefers the dullness of winter, you enjoy the sunshine of summer. (Not that Sebastian can deny enjoying seeing you in a pretty summer dress.)

♡ Funny because the two of you just prove the saying "opposites attract"

♡ Sebastian is 10000% down to indulge you in whatever activity you would like to do. Be it swimming, a long stroll in the rose garden, or even something as miniscule as a picnic - he wouldn't deny you.

♡ And the demon can't help but admit Ciel's better temperament during the summer months.

♡ You're cheerful attitude must be rubbing off on all of them!

♡ When the nights grow too hot, Sebastian takes steps to keep your bedroom cool. He understands that the heat can be a hindrance when it comes to getting sleep.

♡ Not that he needs sleep.

♡ He just wants to make sure you're getting the required eight hours.

♡ Funny enough, dehydration is something Sebastian frets about. You humans are just so weak and the last thing he needs is for you to collapse from the heat.

♡ (That and he doesn't want to spend a day in the hospital - those places creep him out - not that he would ever enlighten you about this.)

♡ In the springtime, Finny and you plant vegetables and fruits in the gardens.

♡ In summer you harvest them.

♡ Though Sebastian doesn't have great taste, he takes Ciel's word that the food tastes better with the homegrown ingredients.

♡ (Who knows - maybe Ciel is just kissing up to you because you seem to be one of the only people he enjoys.)

♡ Something that Sebastian really enjoys doing with you is stargazing. He has so much knowledge from . . . he refuses to say his old age - so he teaches you about the different constellations. You practically hang off his arm like an enamoured five year old and he wouldn't have it any other way.

♡ Despite his normally composed nature, Sebastian can't help but be a teeny tiny bit flustered when you ask him to rub sunscreen on you.

♡ Gatherings between powerful families became more frequent during the summer months. Ciel was invited to all of them.

♡ And consequently that meant Sebastian had to tag along. You go with them because it's a chance to spend even more time with Sebastian.

♡ Many of the older Earls are practically swept away by your summer attire. You look so stunning. Sebastian's always quick to pull you to his side to remind the old men exactly where your loyalty lied.

♡ Ciel tends to let the staff off earlier so you often sit outside with a book in your hand and Sebastian just relaxes as he watches you.

♡ No matter how childish it may seem, Sebastian indulges you in outdoor tea parties. Finny, Mey-rin, Bard, and even Ciel join in. To anyone passing by, you would all look like a happy family.

♡ Yeah.

♡ Sebastian isn't so keen on summer.

♡ But you make it all better.

Three feet in front of you, Sebastian was already up to his shoulder in water. You weren't that tall - the water would immediately go right over your head. Couple that with never learning to swim . . . well that was a plain recipe for disaster.
