Chapter 4

Next day morning in Gupta house 

Both the Gupta sisters woke up around 6 in the morning and started to get ready to search for new jobs. Payal was arranging her certificates in a file and khushi was arranging her sling bag with small devi mayya photo, chanaas and few money. Both left the room after getting ready and went to help in the kitchen to see that the breakfast is already made and buaji was placing it on the table. Buaji was about to call them for breakfast and saw them coming towards her.

Buaji- arey  payaliya what is that file in your hand?

Payal- buaji they are my certificates, there is a vacancy for primary teacher in the school in Lakshmi nagar and I thought of applying there. If everything goes well then I will get a job and can help you to run the house.

Garima- are you sure bitiya that you want to go out and work? Asked her mother who came out of kitchen bringing more vessels.

Payal- ji amma I am sure, it's time that I come out of my shell and face the world. Khushi being the youngest is going out and working and I was just laying around not doing anything and mourning for a person who doesn't even deserve it. So I decided to got to work and face the real world.

Buaji- that's good bitiya that you are coming out of your grief. All the best bitiya and I know that you will get this job. Why not you both sisters love kids so much I am sure you will enjoy this job. Come and have breakfast, come and sit. Titiliya I am sorry to force you last night for the marriage. I know you kept on refusing but still I forced you and emotionally blackmailed you for the marriage. I just want you to be happy bitiya and if your happiness is not in this marriage then I will no longer ask you about this. After listening to payal last night I realized my mistake. For me you and payaliya are both same, never think otherwise bitiya. 

Khushi- o buaji I know that you will always want my happiness and I also know that my pyari buaji loves me a lot. I never thought any wrong about you. Now leave all that and feed me food else I will faint now.

Buaji- chup sanka devi,  stop your drama and come have your breakfast aren't you getting late to go to RM?

Khushi's breath stop for a second listening RM. Rm means ASR and she does not want to face him at any cost. No buaji I need not to go to RM anymore because Arvnaji has announced his engagement with Lavanyaji yesterday night in the party. So my job is done there. I will have to search for a new job now  which I will start from today. Khushi sat down to have her breakfast.

Garima- oh that's good bitiya, it means you have succeeded in doing your job. Don't worry you will find another nice job.

Shyam was listening their talks from start when he was about to go to have breakfast with them. He thought that he will gain sympathy from buaji by putting a sad face and act like a devadas as he lost his love for this life but listening to them he came up with new idea. Now that khushi no longer needs to go to RM he can go to RM and act as dotted husband of Anjali, fill his pockets with some money as he will run out off his cash soon. 

He went to the dining table and started his acting,  with a sad face- buaji I will be going lucknow for few days, there is a case which I need to attend and will return in few days.

Gupta sisters gave no reaction to his words where shyam was expecting khushi to look at him so he can show her how sad and shatterd he is for cancelling engagemnet. But to his bad luck that did not happen.

Buaji- ok babua, come and have your breakfast. She did not know how to talk to him looking at him being very dull but she cannot force khushi anymore as khushi is not happy with this alliance so she kept quiet.

By then both the sisters completed their breakfast and started to go out.

In Raizada Mansion

Arnav woke up early than usual as he did not have peaceful sleep. He had a lot to do today. He went for a jog to fresh his brain and gain energy to deal with his family members.  After his jog he got ready and asked Lavanya to get ready as he want to take her out for breakfast. He wanted to tell her about his feelings towards khushi and apologize for involving her in the mess he created and to emotionally hurt her.

Arnav wanted to complete his conversation with Lavanya before khushi arrives and confess his love to her but little did he know that khushi wont be coming to RM not only today but the following days too.
