Chapter 3

In RM Arnav was in a very bad condition. He was so mad on himself. First he tried to kiss khushi next in fit of anger on himself he announced his engagement with lavanya. He's unable to sleep, unable to think, totally confused about his feelings, how to control them, how to not get attracted to those innocent hazel eyes. There is only one option to do, either accept his feelings for khushi and confess to her or live whole life regretting not following his heart. Khushi has filled colour in his dull life just like his sister mentioned.

Standing at the poolside taking a deep breath, trying to clear his mind Arnav closed his eyes and immediately he saw khushi in red saree glowing beautifully surrounded by diyas smiling innocently and suddenly the images turns into a crying khushi looking shattered at gupta house doorsteps after he dropped her there. He opened his eyes feeling her pain in his chest making him realize the depth of hurt he gave her and how deep he was also feeling bad for hurting his lady love.

Accepting his feelings following his heart he decided that tomorrow morning the first thing he is going to do is to apologize to lavanya. Explain her in what circumstances he had to involve her in his fake girlfriend drama that lead to real engagement. After talking to Lanavya he had to deal with his family too and come up with a reason to stop the engagement. And finally to speak to khushi and reason her about his behavior towards her from start and also to confess his feelings to her. 

He can never be his father, never cheat a woman like his father did to his mother. What he was about to do with khushi on the poolside few hours ago was something like cheating lavanya his fake gf with khushi and announcing his engagement with lavanya also felt like cheating khushi with lavanya. He felt really pathetic of his wrong doings playing with two women's emotions. With this thought he went back to his bedroom to sleep hoping to set things right the next day.
