Chapter 5

Sorry for the delay

The café was not much crowded. Arnav was drinking his black coffee having his toast as usual and lavanya was having pancakes and was talking nineteen to dozen. Though talking continuously with Arnav he noticed that he's not listening to her and also looks tensed. Somewhere in her heart she knows the reason but she was hoping against hope. 

She started with being his fake paid girlfriend, yes she wanted to be associated with The ASR for fame and money and jumped to grab the opportunity when she got to be his fake gf. But after khushi started teaching her about Indian culture and value of marriage she started developing feeling for ASR and was dreaming of a happy marriage. Fame and money was long forgotten and stated to respect and give value to relationships we have in our lives. All thanks to Khushi.

At the same time she also knew that there was something going on between ASR and khushi. The way they both fought or how always khushi could make ASR do silly things which he never did before. Its a bittersweet unnamed relation that bind them together. Lavanya observed that but having developed feelings for ASR she would always brush those thoughts. But now one look at ASR she can tell that its time for confrontation of each others feelings.

Arnav was tensed for the first time after he became ASR, he didn't know how to break it to Lavanya that there will not be any engagement. Gathering courage her looked up from his coffee cup. Before he opened his mouth lavanya asked " Are you really ready for the marriage ASR? Please don't lie"

"I don't lie lavanya" said Arnav

"ASR doesn't lie but Arnav whom I came to know these days knows how to lie. Specially to himself."

"Arnav?"

"Yes khushi's Arnav"

"What?" Arnav was shocked

"Yes ASR, I know that you and khushi have something between you guys, something unavoidable, something unnamed. I have seen the way you look at her and its definitely not hate that you keep saying about khushi, it's not hate. Am I right ASR?"

Arnav sighed heavily and said" Yes lavanya I do not hate khushi in fact I like her a lot"

"See ASR how easy it is to accept the truth. I guess there will not be any engagement now." lavanya smiled sadly.

" I am sorry La to involve you in this mess and to also play with you emotions like this. It was never my intention  to hurt you". 

"Wow ASR and saying sorry that to with an explanation. Khushi has really changed you."

"Yes she did not only me but you too" smiled Arnav. Both shared laugh and completed their breakfast.

In car both were silent and when they were about to reached RM la said that they have to say about their breakup to family. Arnav nodded and prepared himself to face the family. Because he knows that thought confrontation with La was pretty easy and surprising too that she easily understood him but that not would be the case with his family.

Sighing heavily Arnav and LA entered RM together, Anjali saw them and started to tease them" wah chote early morning dating ha" and wiggled her eyebrows.

Both La and Asr shared a look and Arnav announced to the family" we broke up" leaving all the family members shocked.
