2. Apprehensions

All gave furious glance to Beena, Bela recovered first and sat near Naina, making her eat by her hands saying," beta tu kha kyu nahi rahi, kha lena beta. Dekh tu nahi khayegi to me bhi nahi khaungi, ek maa ka pet tab tak nahi bharta jab tak uska baccha kuchh kha na le.....she was interrupted by Anmol who suddenly started coughing loudly, Beena quickly ran to her son, rubbing his back,  a hint of smile could be seen oh his face, as if he was trying to contol his laughter.

Arjun who was looking uncomfortable ever since he came out for lunch, rolled his eyes and then got up from his chair exclaiming," Mera sar dukh raha hai ,khane ki ichha nahi hai"  he theh departed towards his room followed by Anmol who also got up saying he was too feeling uneasy, a lone tear dropped from Naina's eyes that gone unnoticed from everyone's eyes.

Phulla bua was looking very confused and was not able to understand what's going on, she asked, " yeh hua kya aaj sare baccho ko, koi khana nahi kha raha, kuchh hua kya inke school me?"

Bela and Anand looked at each other conversing through thier eyes and then nodded as if understood the reason of thier son's dilemma . Bela stood up  and went to Beena who was looking very worried and was about to go after her son when Bela stopped her ,"Bhabhiji aap chinta mat kariye, me jakar dekhti hu, aap khana kha lijiye"

" O bai mera beta waha bhuka pyasa esi halat me betha h to me kese khalu?
  Sab kuchh is......
"Bhabhiji...she was immediately cut short by bela ,"Aap chinta mat kijiye kaha na maine, achha aap bhi chaliye mere sath ham sath me dekhte h kya hua"

As the devrani jethani duo went to check out on thier children, Naina also stood up to leave but was stopped by phulla bua," Are ab tu kaha ja rahi h, hua kya h tum baccho ko, sath me koi shararat karte hue pakde gaye kya school me? Kya baat hai Naina bata na betaa aur sabse pehle to beth, me nahi utnne dungi apni bacchi ko bina khaye piye, beth ja"
Anand also supported her and addressed Naina, " beta aise ann ka apman nahi karte, wo bhagwan hote h ham ese apna ghussa utar kar uska anadar nahi kar sakte, warna kya pata aage se hame ye naseeb hi na ho" though he said with sweet laden voice but still it made Naina flinch and she lowered her head.

Ladies came out only to face the questioning gaze of the family, Bela answered,
"wo darasal aaj eschool me Naina ka kisi ladke ke sath jhagda hogaya aur wo kuchh bhi kehne laga usko jo hamare Anmol aur Arjun ne sun liya, fir kya dono bhai itna pyar karte h apni behen se ki wo iske khilaf kuchh sun na paye aur ladayi karli aur band baja di us battamiz ladke ki haa, Naina isiliye udas hai aur ye dono sharminda h ki wo pehle kyu nahi aaye aur naina ko itna sab sunna pda isliye isse nazare nahi mila pa rahe aur sath bethne se hichkicha rahe h,"

Phulla bua smiled,"achha laga bacchon mein yah ekta dekh kar par aise Na khane se to Kam Nahin chalta na unko bahar bula lo mere pass mujhme unse baat karni hai"
Bela agreed and went inside to call them

"Kya zarurat thi beta ladko se baat karne ki, hamne kaha tha ladko se dur rehne ko fir kyu bat kari tumne unse, aur esi bhi kya bat hui jo jhagda hogaya, Naresh said though casually but suspicion was evident in his voice,  Phulla bua chided him giving a smack oh his back,"kya pappu tu bhi, kab bada hoga tu? ab bacche ek sath pdenge to bat to hogi na aapas me, tujhe to wo ladke pe ghussa aana chahiye par to tu apne hi ghar ki beti pe shak kar raha h"

"Kya buaji aap abhi bhi mujhse ese... Khair chhodiye aur me shak nahi kar raha, me to bas Naina bitiya ko...he was saved by giving explaination  as Arjun came out followed by Bela .

Phulla  bua asked about the absence of Anmol, Bela  informed that he was not feeling very well and was quite tired hence he will eat and rest in his room only, Beena quickly went inside her son's room to look after him.

Phulla bua called Arjun near her and praised him for protecting his sister but also asked him to eat as it will also make Naina feel bad so if he really want her happiness then he should eat with her without feeling guilty.
