I was back home in Tennessee, my mom had died and her funeral was last week, I had stopped outside of Paul's bar for one last drink before heading home.
Luke Bryan blasted from the jukebox and I hummed along as I sat at the bar.

"How long you in town for?" Paul asked. "I'm leaving tomorrow morning" I said sipping my drink. "I'm sorry about your mom Grayce" he sighed. I nodded. "Not the best reason to come home huh?" He nodded heading to the other end of the bar.

"Whatcha drinking darlin"

I knew that voice before I looked up. It had only been two years but it felt like a lifetime..

I looked up.

"Hey Mo"
"Grayce Dawson" his breath hitched.

"Man it's good to see you"
