It's Moving

You and Justin have a five year old daughter who was the first addition to your new family. She absolutely stole the heart of the both of you and sometimes uses that against you.
Seven months ago, you gave birth again to a handsome baby boy. Y/d/n quickly became protective over him. Wherever he was, she was their too. If he was crying, she would run to us and make sure we got him.
She would hold him on her lap while they watched television together. She would ask to feed him constantly, even if he had just ate.
One time in the mall, a couple people came up to us for a picture and got a little to close to y/s/n for y/d/n's liking. She stepped in front of the stroller trying to block their view of him and gave them her best 'stank' face. You and Justin laughed about that for a long time after.
Now that y/s/n is seven months old, he's starting to really move around. He's been pulling himself up into the position of crawling and moves a little bit before laying in his stomach like a penguin.
This afternoon after Justin had surprised you all with lunch, y/s/n had really started moving around. Y/d/n was sitting in the living room watching her after lunch cartoons while y/s/n was sitting on his playmat surrounded by all of his favorite toys.
"Daddy!!! Mommy!!" Y/d/n screamed.
The both of you rushed into the room and saw nothing wrong.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Justin asked her.
"Look!" she exclaimed.
She took a couple steps backwards and we watched as y/s/n crawled towards her. She repeated the same action, except this time, he came closer to her.
"He's moving around Daddy! Why does he keep following me? He's a baby!" She asked.
"Love, when babies start to get older they start to move around trying to crawl and walk so they can be a big kid. Just like you. Y/s/n only wants to be able to play with you and do the things you can do" Justin explained.
"You promise Daddy?" She asked.
"I promise baby" he confirmed.
She walked over to him and hesitantly sat down picking up his favorite toy monkey. She squeezed it and his laughter echoed around the room as the monkey made its signature sound. Delighted that she could make him burst into a for of giggles, she continued to play with him for the rest of the afternoon. Even right after he woke up from his afternoon nap.
By the sounds and of glee the two made, you could that they both throughly enjoyed each other's company. The smiles of their faces were priceless as their happiness came from being with one another.

Hey guys! This is the last update until April 11 when I get back from my cruise vacation!!! This is just a little something that will hopefully hold you over until I can do a proper one.
