Corellian wolves evolved from various subspecies of gray wolves that were transported to this planet due to overhunting, poaching and habitat destruction. They spread across most of the mountainous areas, forests, grasslands, arctic regions, lowlands and prairies of Corellia to prevent them from going to extinction

Description :

Like their counterparts on earth, Corellian wolves are highly social animals, living in packs. Usually they lived in packs to hunt larger prey. Females are extremely aggressive when it comes to protecting their pups, as they will attack anything that comes near their pups. Males will often take the pups to hunting grounds, possibly for hunting training and learn the ways of pack life. Corellian wolves are native to Corellia, a Russia-sized continent. They normally prey upon medium to large sized prey animals, but they are known to prey upon larger herbivores in large packs
