Karliah's heart raced inside her chest as she laid on her back on the burnt grass, Her black Daedric Armor was untouched by the two dragons.

"That was Alduin." She said.

"Sure." Delphine sharply replied.

Karliah's head turned to the blonde Breton that sat on the dead grass next to her,"You didn't hear what Sahloknir said? He said 'Alduin, Thuri'."

"Probably something in their language. Speaking of, You're the Dragonborn and you don't know how to speak it?"

"Zu'u dreh, rok doesn't mindok."
(I do, he doesn't know)

Delphine stayed quiet. Karliah mindlessly stared at Sahloknir's skeleton.

"I miss my great sword," She randomly said.

"You're the one who shoved it into "Alduin's" mouth, " Delphine added air quotes to emphasis her words.

"You're the one who almost killed themselves! If it wasn't for that you'd be burning," Karliah huffed, "Anyways, what's our next move?"

"I think the Thalmer are behind this, resurrected a dragon to go resurrect others," Delphine stood up,"Meet me in my secret room, and watch the skys, it will only get worse. "

Karliah huffed out an 'okay' before she left. She crossed her arms and turned back to the blue sky. She knew how stupid the plan was but she didn't argue.

It was noon when Karliah finally got up and walked back to Riverwood.

Delphine told her about her plan: Get into to Thalmer Embassy, dig around and look for evidence, get out alive. The party will start in four days at night, so Karliah can talk with Durnehviir and probably get some formal clothing for the party.

Karliah strolled out of Solitude, her new clothing was on. She handed the Wood Elf, Malborn, her belongings, which was just some potions and some heavier weapons. When the farm outside of Solitude came into view she tightened the black thin sheath around her upper thigh.

She took off the sheath around her waist and put the thin Ebony Sword in her knee high boot. Delphine was waiting for her at the farm, she walked up to the stables and found Delphine leaning on the stone mill. Karliah walked up to her.

Delphine looked at her,"Hi?"

Karliah rolled her eyes, "Dragonborn," Delphine raised her brows,"Now, what's the plan. "

Delphine fished out a paper, must be the fake invitation, and handed it to her.

"Now give me your stuff you're not taking with you."

Karliah handed the two sheaths that belonged to the hidden weapons. She dug the back of the long heal of the boot as she waited for the Breton to situate herself. She now just realized that she was towering even taller than the Breton, she smirked.

Delphine motioned to the wooden carriage, "Better be on your way," Karliah pulled herself up onto the back and to look a seat,"Get out alive!"

_______

Karliah sat on the small chest in Delphine's  hidden room, reading.
Delphine walked in and gasped when she saw Karliah. She slammed the book about the Dragonborn closed and stared down the older woman.

"Nothing," She growled as Delphine turned from her skull-pircing
glare,"I said it was stupid, but here we are! What's next up the chain!"

Delphine sighed as she leaned over the table. Karliah got up and moved to stand in front of the small table, A leather bound book appeared in her left hand and tossed it onto the table.

"Only thing I found," She said as Delphine slid the book to her and opened it,"A guy named Esbern. Thalmer are hunting him down along with you, and they're keeping their eyes on Ulfric."

"Esbern?"

"Yes, they mentioned something about him possibly hiding out in the Ratway."

"I need you to find him. He and I are the last of the Blades."

Karliah hummed in amazement,"I'll be off then."

"Wait," Karliah stopped."A man named Brynjolf will help you."

She recognized the name, she remembered Imhol saying something about him and the Thieves Guild. She turned around and as she walked up the narrow stairs her Daedric Armor was on.

______

Salt and fish. The air was familiar, she was the Thane of Riften, and she owned a house on the side of the small town. Someone in Steel Armor and black war paint was leaning against a post that held a house's deck up and he was staring her down. She returned the glare, the action went unseen under her thick helmet.

Her shoulder collided with another, she remained untouched by the strong force, but the person would've broken their head on the cobblestone entrance if she hadn't cought  them by the collar of their armor. A man in  charcoal leather armor, chocolate eyes, A scruff and he had black hair with grey.

"Heh, sorry," He said after Karliah hauled him to his feet, he stuck out his hand. "Axel."

Karliah took his large hand in her's,"Karl-, uh, Dragonborn. "

Axel took his hand back,"What? "

Karliah crossed her arms and shifted her weight on her left leg,"I don't really want my name getting out, so, yeah, I'm the Dragonborn. "

He hummed and nodded. With that, they went their separate ways. Karliah didn't need Brynjolf's help, she knew who to talk to in the Ratway.

_____

After talking to the bartender and fighting of some Thalmer soldiers, getting lectured by Esbern, fighting of more Thalmer, Karliah finally took Esbern to the secret Blade member.

"Alduin?" Delphine skeptically asked.

"Yes!" Karliah and Esbern yelled in frustration.

Delphine stared at the wall in shock. Esbern set a thick book on the table. He explained about an abandoned base of the Blades, he said they created a wall that shows how they defeated Alduin.
