Dare 8: A Prank Gone Too Far

Ironhide: come on, it'll be fun.
Jamie: how's getting Drift mad at Crosshairs fun?!
Hound: we won't let it get too far.

Crosshairs returns to the base, trying to find Jamie. Ironhide and Hound pretend not to know where she is. Crosshairs runs upstairs, hoping she's in their room.
Crosshairs: *thinking* Drift is going to be so pissed.
He looks in the room before seeing if Jamie is playing video games with Sideswipe or drawing with Sunstreaker.

Sunstreaker: she didn't tell you she's going home?!
Crosshairs: no, and she wouldn't joke around like this.
Sunstreaker: you want me to help?
Crosshairs: no, I don't know how pissed Drift will be, and I'd rather be not be pissed at everyone.
Sunstreaker: *thinking* it's hard to think Drift would get angry, but no doubt he would if it's related to Jamie.

Drift returns an hour later, finding it strange Jamie isn't with Crosshairs, nor is Crosshairs telling him she's with one of the others — which he would tell him as silly as that may sound.
Drift: you have no idea where she is, do you?
Crosshairs: .....
Drift: YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THAT IS!!
Ironhide and Hound watch, trying not to laugh. Jamie, on the other hand, is not liking this.  
Drift slaps Crosshairs and shoves him to the ground; kicking him in the gut before running off to find Jamie.
Ironhide: *whispers* this has gone too far.

By now, Jamie is no longer hiding. Ironhide and Hound see how scared she is that this prank just ruined a friendship.  Hound takes Crosshairs to the medbay to be on the safe side before the two mechs look for Drift.
Ironhide carries Jamie, who is more afraid of the possible ruined relationship than pissed at Ironhide and Hound for doing this prank.

Hound: Drift!
Drift hears Hound calling him and sees Ironhide has Jamie.   Drift takes Jamie but is still pissed at Crosshairs. He agrees to go to the medbay with them.

Ratchet: you're lucky you didn't cause any internal bleeding!
Ironhide: it's not his fault, Ratchet.

The two mechs tell Crosshairs, Drift, and Ratchet about the prank, which gets each of them wacks in the head with a wrench from Ratchet.
Ratchet: YOU THINK TEARING APART A FRIENDSHIP IS A PRANK?!!
No one knew Jolt contacted Prime, who has Ironhide and Hound go to his office with him.
Drift: Fraggers!! I'm sorry, Crosshairs.
Crosshairs: I thought she did go somewhere to...you know. Afraid how pissed you'd be, now I know.
Drift: I should have known you'd make sure she was safe with one of the others.
Both mechs hate how upset this made Jamie.
Crosshairs: so... should we do a revenge prank?
