Dare 10: Colorful and Glowing Medic

@Butterflymed: I dare tfp bumblebee and smokescreen to paint knockout to neon rainbow while knockout is on full recharge.

Bumblebee: and I thought you were fine with this book. *Sighs in defeat*
Jamie: gee, so you are the one keeping me too busy to work on this book.
Bumblebee: uh...
Smokescreen: *laughing*

The trio leaves the base without getting asked where they're going and head to the BB hardware store to get paint. They argue whether or not to paint a rainbow on Knockout's chassis or his entire frame and about letting Jamie stay behind to film Knockout's reaction.
Bumblebee: fine, but be careful.

The trio waits until midnight to sneak out of the base.
Smokescreen: not a good time for the Nemesis to not be in the sky.
Bumblebee: we'd still be able to get on.
After explaining to Smokescreen how that would be possible, the three get on the ship.
Smokescreen: so where do we go now?
Jamie: hold on *stomps foot on ground*
Smokescreen: uh...
Jamie: seismic sense, vibrations travel around the ship, and I can find where Knockout's berthroom is. It's not easy to learn.
Smokescreen: or understand

The three find Knockout's berthroom, entering quickly and quietly.
Smokescreen: wrong night to sleep on your back, Knockout.
With Jamie providing a little light with a flame from her hand, Bumblebee and Smokescreen get to work on painting the Decepticon medic. They paint a rainbow on his chassis and stripes on his servos and legs. It's a challenge not to laugh.
Once the two mechs were finished, Jamie extinguished the flame. The three struggle not to laugh seeing the sleeping, glowing medic.
Smokescreen: this should be fun.

Jamie takes Bumblebee and Smokescreen back to the base before finding a place to hide in Knockout's berthroom.

The next day

Smokescreen: I wish we could see Knockout's reaction.
Bumblebee: she'll be back soon with the video.
Ratchet: where'd Jamie go, and what video?
The two mechs realize they're in trouble.
Ratchet: seriously? A dare?!
The two get a lecture from Ratchet and Optimus.

Knockout immediately sees the neon paint the second his optics online.
Knockout: what the frag?!
Knockout angrily walks out of his berthroom and down the call. Vehicons laugh as they walk by Knockout. Jamie follows, flying while invisible.

Knockout; what is the meaning of this?!
Megatron, watch your tone, doctor!
Starscream: *laughing* what happened to you?
Knockout: that's what I intend to find out! This is going to take weeks to get off!
Knockout angrily walks away. Jamie believes she has enough of his reaction and goes back to the base.

Ratchet: do you have any idea how dangerous that was?! I would have thought you knew better!
Optimus joins in the lecture but not in a yelling tone.

After her lecture, Jamie finds Bumblebee and Smokescreen to show them the video. Jack, Miko, and Raf join in, watching the video and laughing.
Smokescreen: this is too funny; we need to more like this.
