Captain.....

Alone

Levi's POV

Once we made it to the roof his expression had changed from happy to relaxed, he was easily readable if you took a little bit of time to look. "Captain..?" He says waving his hand in my face snapping me out of my thoughts. "What brat" I try to say as emotionless as possible.

I soon regret how I said it looking at how eeeeee his expression changed from being happy to sad. "Sorry I didn't mean to come off like that...." I apologized. I APOLOGIZED? What just what? "C-captain, you apologized?" He says msurprised. "Tch. What did you want before" I say trying to change the subject. "I-I just wanted to show you the view, I thought it was pretty" he said smiling nervously.

Eren's POV

When I tell captain what I originally wanted to, his expression lit up almost not enough for me to realize. I decide not to say anything because he'd just call me crazy. I lay down on the roof looking at what pattern the clouds were this time, they were breathtaking I'll give you that. At some point I guess I fell asleep because I was woken up by captain tapping my shoulder.

"Brat. Wake up, it's almost time for dinner"
I groan sitting up but almost falling over if captain wasn't there I would of, "take it slow" he says in a deeper soothing voice making my shudder a little "sorry c-captain my head hurts" I say groaning and holding my head leaning all of my weight onto him.

"Do you think you can get up brat?" He says still in a soothing tone, " I-I don't know captain. I can try" I feel him nod and start to pull me up. Once I was up I felt it get 10x worse making my breathe hick making me immediately fall back down, thankfully captain is fast. "Oi brat." He says a little concerned now "c-captain it hurts" I say grabbing onto his shirt.

Levi's POV

I don't know what I'm supposed to do, I don't deal with people. I'll just bring him to bed and get a cool rag. I pick him up and he leans into me grabbing onto my shirt while shaking. It kind of makes my heart hurt which I didn't like the new feelings I was experiencing, once I made it into his room in the basement which was the only room they allowed. I was lucky enough to convince to not use handcuffs.

When I set him down I hear whimpers which makes me stop in my tracks, turning I realize that his hand is still on my shirt and he's crying. Crying?! Why is he crying? "Eren" I didn't expect him to hear me but I was hoping, I shook his shoulder a little bit causing him to open his eye a little and letting out a groan. You're probably wondering why I don't just take his hand off, well considering he's just a teenager who is growing makes him one strong son of a bitch.

"C-captain" he says in pain, "Eren let go" I say wanting to leave. "Captain I don't like being alone down here. I-it's scary....dark". I won't lie, that definitely caught me by surprise but I tried not to show it. "Tch.. I'll stay down here till you fall asleep, I'll bring you dinner when you wake up." I say as I see him nod, I tell him to move over so I could sit next to him while he sleeps. That obviously wasn't a good idea because I ended up falling asleep a short time after he did.

Eren's POV

When I wake up I realize I'm hugging something warm which makes me look up. When I look up I see captain.
Captain??
What is Captain doing here I don't remember what happened. I'm kind of tempted to wake him up but I hear a loud screech and look over to find the one and only, Hange. "Is that Levi?!" She said screeching. I wince at the loudness because I only just woke up "yeah" I said dryly hoping she'll leave.

"He asleep so be a little quieter Hange" she looks a little suprised at the tone in my voice. "Well dinner has been done for about 15 minutes, so if you wanna wake him up go ahead if not just eat it later" she says making my nod. As she leaves I lay my head back down on his lap and go back to sleep.

An hour later

Levi's POV

I wake up a warm pressure on my legs and look down to see Eren. His hair looked soft so I decided to feel it, it was super soft. He seemed to like me petting his head because he smiled in his sleep and hugged me tighter, which was adorable. Wait no no no. Just no. In his captain. I am snapped out of my thoughts as I feel him start to wake up I kind of panic because I don't know what to do. I ended up just looking out the room pretending I didn't notice.

"C-captain" he says in a tired voice. "Yes brat" I say still trying to keep my cool, "you're still here" you can kinda hear the relief and maybe happiness in his voice. It kinda of makes me relax. "Why wouldn't I be, I ended up falling asleep too. I do have to go though I'm already behind schedule" his expression that he made after I said that made my heart break a little. I got up once he let me go out of his hug. "You should get up soon too to eat," he nodded and started getting up.

Eren's POV

Once I see him leave I pull out the shard or glass I picked up earlier. I smile while I put the glass closer to my wrist and..... cut 1, cut 2, cut 3, useless ugly stupid worthless a toy. Cut 4, cut 5. I look down smiling seeing all the blood oozing out of my arm into the sink. I watch it steam down my arm for a while smiling. If you could see me right now I'd look like I would belong in an insane asylum. The fun ends soon as I see the cuts starting to heal already, making me frown.

I want to see blood. I want pain. I want to feel like I'm gonna cry from being in pain. I cut.... 6....7...8...9..10..11..12..13..14. I slash my arms smiling more and more while the blood start to pour out of my arms making me whine from the sensation. More. More. More. More. I cut more. I start to feel dizzy, I feel myself swaying and I fall on my butt making me wince. I try to get up holding onto the sink to make sure there isn't any evidence anywhere.

15 minutes later

The blood finally stopped right when I hear my name being called, "Eren!" A voice said it sounds like Levi. I start to panic as my cuts are steaming, I desperately try to cover them with bandages. When I finish hiding everything I see him opening the dungeon door. "Hi captain" I say trying not to be suspicious, I don't think it works because he got a weird look on his face. "What are you doing brat" he says "nothing sir! I was just about to c-come out to eat dinner" crap he looks even more suspicious now.

He's frowning now. I change the subject "so I'm gonna go eat now, sorry for taking so long" smiling while walking past him. He is definitely suspicious of me now, great. Just what I needed.

   Levi's POV

      He was acting weird. Whatever I'll just check on him later. He gets that weird smile on his face whenever he's lying. I laugh thinking of that facial expression and move along to my office
