World number 89 – Castra
Year 769.
The battle is about to begin. The greatest war between humans and demons that the world had ever seen. People are frightened but still ready to give their all in a desperate attempt to make an opportunity for their loved ones to survive. They are saying their last goodbyes and last prayers to gods who don't even listen to them. The end is near.

At the same time
"...blah, blah, blah, blah...", was the only thing that I heard.
"God, when are you going to stop", I thought to myself, "I came here for a vacation, not to listen to you blabbering on and on".
"Did you understand?", asked the old man once he finished his speech.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it."
He looked at me suspiciously but still nodded his head, all while stroking his beard.
"Then you can go. You are free to stay for however long you want as long as you don't cause any trouble. If you do, no matter how close your father and I are, you will be sent flying out of here."
"You wouldn't be saying that if you knew who I am, you old geezer. Whatever, it's not like I'm a child. What could I possibly do that would make him throw me out?", I asked myself.
I waved my hand, making a giant teleportation rune, which was supposed to transport me to the most remote and most abandoned part of Castra. Even though I only needed a moment to make such a complicated rune, I reminded myself to stop showing off in the future and use runes the same way that humans do - after long and utterly useless chanting. Being a human really isn't easy. Maybe I should have gone to the world number 67. Over there, I wouldn't have to pretend so damn hard to be a weakling.
I shook my head, clearing out such thoughts, and headed straight to the centre of the rune. The lights blinded me, and in the next moment, I found myself in a completely different place.
"My break has finally begun!", I yelled and immediately regretted it. When I noticed how many eyes were on me, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole.
It was certainly not the first time I embarrassed myself in public. However, I hoped it would not happen again. For a moment, I imagined killing all of them so they wouldn't tell anyone about my public outburst. I have a reputation to keep, after all. Everyone knows me to be a cold and calculative person who would not hesitate to kill in a blink of an eye. I can't let others find out that I behave like a child in their absence. Lost in thoughts, I didn't even notice the chaos that ensued all around me. One side was terrifyingly close with their weapons ready to attack, while the other side kept yelling for me to escape.
I buried my face in my hands, wanting to cry. Why do these things always happen to me? The only thing I wanted was to rest, and this is already the second time that I'll have to give up on my sweet, sweet vacation. I stretched my hand toward the upcoming group of demons and, after saying a short verse, which was most definitely incorrect (not that I cared at that moment), I summoned an enormous fire-ball that destroyed not only the demons, but a large part of territory as well.
"Well, if it wasn't clear before, now it has become painfully obvious - I will be kicked out", I sighed and teleported directly home.
I will let my father convey the bad news to the old man.

Even long after her disappearance, people stood still, their eyes glued to the scene of burning landscape. The Goddess had heard their prayers and came to save them. She burned the demons to the ground while making a barrier that kept them tucked away from danger. The story of a Goddess with long white hair and eyes as red as rubies spread like wildfire all around the world. There wasn't a man alive that didn't know about the events that took place that fateful day, and her story travelled through time, unchanging for future generations to find.
