I was seated at the dining table with my parents when my phone started to buzz but I chose to ignore it and continue eating lightly. If I was going to drink tonight, I didn't want to throw up all the good food my parents set for me.

Eventually as we kept on eating, my phone still kept buzzing and my dad finally spoke.

"Honey, what's going on? Do you have somewhere to be?"

I took my phone and hid it in my pocket, looking down at my plate. I have never asked permission from my parents before in my life. Well these foster parents anyway. They always have what I needed and asked me for what I wanted, but asking since I wasn't able to go out at all in three months, I didn't need to have a curfew and ask permission to go anywhere. I didn't know how they would respond.

I sucked in a breath of courage, "Actually, I wanted to ask permission from you guys. Later at 10pm, my classmates asked me to come over to a house party."

My mom stopped eating and tilted her head in confusion, "On a school night? It's Tuesday tomorrow."

"I know, and I know my body's limit and need to rest. I would be home with enough sleep and early for school."

They both looked at each other, deciding on what to say and I felt really doubtful. I'm not sure if I was pushing my luck with going to a party on the first day I was out of the house.

Dad looked at me and nodded slowly, "Alright then. But I want you to text me when you get there and NEVER turn your location off. Once you're off the radar I will have butlers hunting you."

I stood up and hugged them both, "You guys are the best, thank you!"

They only chuckled as I ran back o my room. Lila was already blowing up my phone saying where I was, what
I was going to wear, who my ride was. I wasn't going to be drunk because it was still a school night, which means I could take my car.

I went to my closet and chose the best outfit. It will be my first party in 3 months I had to look good. I wasn't going to waste my hard work anyway.
My closet was filled with party dresses, I eventually settled with a black body con dress with a low cleavage and thin straps holding it all together over my shoulders. It hugged me in the right places and I felt so confident.

The thing with house parties in it school is that everyone wears what they would at a club. We were still too young for it so we made it a rule to treat house parties as clubs.

By the time it was 22:16, Lila was blowing up my phone again, saying the party started 20 minutes ago and I was still nowhere to be seen. To be fair, I just like being fashionably late but also because I had to straighten my hair even more and put on some makeup.

My parents were working in their room by now and so I just made my way to my car and drove off to the address Lila just sent me.

The house was big enough for a whole batch to have a party but what caught my attention was the music. It reached from the highway because of how loud it was. But everyone turned a blind eye because this was Fallon's house. She was a walking bank as well. Being the mean girl and all that she never disappoints the crowd with a good party.

I parked a few blocks away from the house. But even as I was walking there, a lot of kids my age are making out, talking, smoking and drinking on too of the different cars that were parked ahead of mine.

Making it to the house, I was immediately enveloped my Lila. She had been waiting for me by the entrance.

"Oof- you look smoking!" She cheered. She was dressed in a neon pink dress that ended on her thighs and that just complimented her skin.
