You don't have to read this if you're educated on trans terms in general and different identities.
Cisgender: shortened to cis and means someone still identifies as their assigned gender at birth.
Transgender: shortened to trans and refers to someone who identifies as a different gender assigned to them at birth. An umbrella term that includes both binary and Nonbinary identities.
Nonbinary: often shortened to NB and refers to anyone who doesn't identify as fully man or fully woman. Anyone outside of the gender binary.
AGAB: assigned gender at birth.
AMAB: assigned make at birth.
AFAB: assigned female at birth.
Biological sex: the sexes are male and female. Most often used in science and in hospitals. The male and female body are different. You can't change your sex or chose it but you can change your gender.
Gender identity: how we identify. Does sometimes and sometimes not correlate with the sex assigned to us at birth.
Chosen name: a name you chose yourself.
Deadname: a trans persons old name.
Legal name: stands on your ID passport etc. Costs money to change.
Neopronouns: pronouns that aren't recognized in the language they're used in. It/it's, xe/xem, ze/zir or other set of personalized pronouns for example.
FtM: female to male
Mtf: male to female
Ftnb: female to nonbinary
Mtnb: male to nonbinary
Nonbinary identities:
Nonbinary: have a gender that does not fit into the gender binary
Agender: does not have a gender
Demiboy: feels a partial connection to being a man/boy
Demigirl: feels a partial connection to being a girl/woman
Demigender: feels a partial connection to a gender
Libramasculine: is mostly agender but feels a connection to being a boy/man
Librafemenine: is mostly agender but feels a partial connection to being a girl/woman
Libragender: is mostly agender but feels a partial connection to a gender
Genderfluid: one's gender fluctuates between gender identities. Does not have to be all gender identities but can be
Genderdoe: also known as genderfae, is when a person's gender fluctuates but never is masculine
Genderfaun: a person's gender fluctuates but is never femenine
Girlflux: the instensity of a gender changes. One day you can feel 100% woman, the next 50% and maybe another day completely agender
Boyflux: the same as girlflux but with a masculine gender
