It was 11 at night and I was sat on my windowsill playing my guitar and singing softly. Clint came in but I didn't notice until he cleared his throat. "oh hey clint." I smiled but he looked a bit pale. "Lauren Steve's in the infirmary. Red skull and him were fighting and he lost his train of thought when red skull threatened to hurt you." I ran down to Steve's room but was stopped by red skull. "you. Are. Mine."
"hah I don't think so sonny boy." he gripped my arm and I flipped him over and slammed him onto the floor. "JARVINA!" the metal wrapped around me and I slammed my foot onto his stomach. I heard Steve cheering but I was put in a headlock an the metal on my suit started to close in so I quickly got out of his grasp. "kill him lauren!" I got red skull in a head lock and snapped his neck in two pieces and he fell to the floor and the suit disappeared. Steve gripped me tightly "Steve you scared me!"
"you mean the world to me never ever get hurt badly!"
"I won't Steve I promise." I was shivering from the draft and I felt hands cover my eyes. "guess--"
"Clinton Francis Barton."
"how the hell?!" I saw Steve's smiling face again. he wrapped his arms around me again and I buried my face into the crook of his neck and inhaled his sweet scent. "I love you Lauren." I smiled aganist his neck and he brought my eyes to meet his. "Never leave me steve you are my world." He smiled and kissed me. His lips were soft and warm against my cold thin lips but evantually they warmed up enough so me and Steve were the same temperature. "I love you Lauren." he whispered and pulled back. I turned around and saw half of hydra stood there "history is repeating itself. Steve get down!!" I put on two bracelets and Steve got down. I cut the robots in half and they fell to the floor. I saw the other avengers staring at me and I turned around and saw I had accidentally sliced Steve in half.
I woke up in a cold sweat with tears pouring and Steve looking worried in the doorway "lauren?" I wiped my eyes but the tears kept falling. "hey hey shh it was only a nightmare." he sat on my bed and pulled me onto his lap and I cried into his shirt. "never leave me." I sobbed. "I never will Lauren." he wiped away my tears and I went to have a quick shower. I slipped on some denim shorts and a black vest with black knee high boots. "sir I need to board a bird and go to London's britain's got talent stadium." he nodded and a bird was waiting outside for me. "I'm coming!" nearly all the avengers shouted so Steve picked me up and ran to the jet with me. Once we were all buckled in the jet took off and I didn't say a word. "lauren?"
"buttercup?"
"agent?"
"lady stark?" I rolled my eyes and wrote on a small whiteboard 'I'm on vocal break." they all nodded but Steve kissed me. We landed just as my name was called "knock em dead baby." I smirked and went onto the stage. "hello who are you?"
"I'm Lauren stark."
"as in tony stark."
"yup." the judges jaws dropped and the music to the song I was singing began to play. I sang sweet sacrifice by evanescence with all the power in my voice until it finished. I got through to the next round and Steve came on in his uniform and picked me up. Fangirls started screaming "captain you can be such a jackass." the fans started running so we ran out and I whispered into a small head set. "jarvina." I was encased in metal and my dad did the same but whispered. "Jarvis." the jet picked the others up but me and dad raced ahead and got to the base before the jet was halfway. "starks!"
"yup."
"why did you race here?!"
"chill fury YOLO." he scowled at my remark and the suit unwrapped itself from me and Steve tossed me in the air an caught me with his mask on. "I heard Steve was getting kisses so where are mine?" I laughed and kissed him softly. He kissed me back and squeezed me gently. "you were great buttercup."
"sweetie you really need to get your brain looked at." fake seriousness filled my voice and Steve carried me inside and I took his mask off. "no offence to the captain but the spandex mask gets in the way." he chuckled and ran his fingertips across my cheek and jawline. "well now you're stuck with good ol' steve."
"awesome." we went into my room and he locked the door. "y'know I've been thinking. How can you sing like that?!"
"I taught myself and filled out an application form."
"wow." he pushed me down and kissed me. The kiss was full of desperation and hunger and I knew exactly what he wanted. We were making out for 10 minutes and I slid his shirt off and he unbuttoned my checkerd shirt and slid it off and took my white vest off which was underneath the shirt. He turned off the security cameras and locked the door.
NEXT DAY

The alarm sounded but I turned over and put my pillow over the back of my head. "Agent you're needed to round up the avengers!" I got up and slid my uniform on and put my hair into a high ponytail and ran onto a quinjet. I flew to stark tower and saw him suiting up. "Unnecessary Dad." He looked at me and I put my suit on. "We need to get the others to base." He shook his head and chuckled and strong arms wrapped around my waist and I took my suit off. "Hey."
"missed you."
"missed you more Steve face the facts." he kissed my neck and shoulder blade and sucked my soft spot behind my ear. "Steve stop." he shook his head so I slammed him to the floor.
"Ow!"
"I said stop." he got up and playfully put me in a headlock. I laughed and he let go of me and kissed my cheek. "love you babe."
"love you too cappy." I heard fake gagging and looked over at Clint and he tried to look innocent. "nice try birdie boy." he scowled and I chuckled. "clintyboo come play budapest." an awkward silence filled the room until we heard a door lock click. "well that was awkward." Steve nodded and I quickly excused myself to answer my phone. "hm yeah this is agent stark... No I'm not married to captain america... You have no right to touch him so I suggest you hang up, delete my number and fuck off." there was a silence and the line went dead. A hand clasped over my mouth but I back kicked the guy in the balls and flipped him onto the floor. Steve came out and held me back. "I COULD RIP YOUR FUCKING FACE OFF!"
"baby girl stop!" I was growling under my breath. "baby calm down." I slowed my frantic breathing and Steve still held me in his arms. The man tried to get to me but Steve beat him up. "I was gonna do that." I pouted but his fists were clenched so I slowly backed away. "Lauren I won't hurt you."
"Then calm down." He walked over to me with his arm outstretched.
"I will." I still backed away but he came quicker until I was sprinting away. I climbed onto a jet and took off to London. I landed a few hours later at the BGT stadium and changed into black short a black crop top and black knee high heeled boots. It was my turn so I walked on stage and everyone gasped at what I was wearing. "Get used to it." I started singing I hate everything about you by three days grace. After I had finished I stayed in my dressing room for the night. I heard someone come in and a faint "aww bless her." I stirred and saw Clint in the doorway.
"Dude it's one in the morning piss off." I grumbled and held out my hand and a hand piece soon flew onto it. "Lauren Steve won't sleep and he keeps grumbling." I picked up my stuff and I was in my pyjamas with skulls on them. "You win bird brain." He gave me a <_< face and we went onto the jet he flew here. I fell asleep in one of the seats in the back as Clint was flying but the intercom woke me up. "Agent Barton do you have my baby girl."
"God Steve shut up about her I can't find her!"
"Just come back I'll look for her in the morning."
"Already on my way." Clint disconnected the intercom. "now you're evil clint." he chuckled
"just shh. I wanna see the expression on his face when he sees you." I laughed and kept my armor close.
AT STARK TOWERS

Clint made me stay back and he went to deal with a grumbling Steve. "it's all my fault." clint cleared his throat which signaled for me to come in. I rubbed my tired eyes and walked in. I was tackled in a tight hug "jeez Steve." I got off of the floor and he tilted my head up so our eyes met. He slowly leaned in and kissed me. While we were kissing I felt something hard hit my leg. "I'm gonna get some sleep. Nighty night avengers." everyone nodded and I went up to my room in stark towers and fell asleep.
