"It was the least I could do, cmon let's sit outside."
You sighed and followed him to the table outside. It was an overcast day. Chilly but to the point where you were shivering.
"You know it's really no big deal, I could've paid for us." You said sitting down in one of the empty chairs.
"Y/n. The deeds been done. Just drop it."
"Fine, at least let me pay you back."
"Y/n"
"Fine fine whatever." You rolled your eyes.
"This is a nice place, do you come here often?" Iwaizumi asked changed the subject.
"Yeah, I come here every week or so to just get coffee or to study."
"I can see why, it's really peaceful and cozy."
"God this is so awkward!" You told yourself in your head.
"So how's school going for you?" You asked him.
"It's going pretty well for me, I'm not failing so I consider that a win."
"Heh wish I could say the same, my math grades aren't doing the best... I got a 73% on my last quiz."
"Hey at least you didn't get a 50% or lower. But you know if you need any help you can call me."
"Thanks Iwaizumi." You smiled at him.
You heard a little ding and the door the cafe opened. The older woman had both your drinks in hand and set them down along with some napkins. "Enjoy you two!" And she disappeared back into the shop.
Iwaizumi took a sip of his coffee. "Wow this is actually good, have you tried this?"
"Yeah it's good right?" Laughing a little.
You both sat there sipping your drinks and chatting until you both had finished.
"Are you ready to go home?" He asked throwing his drink away.
You nodded your head and waved to the owner from outside. You both then took off back up the hill to your house.
"Alright this is where I leave you I guess.." Iwaizumi said.
"I guess so. Today was fun I'd like to do it again if that's ok."
"Yeah definitely, we should set a time for next week if you're free."
You paused and racked your brain to see if you had any events planned.
"I'm free all next week!"
"Really? How does Friday sound? We could go to my house and order food and watch a movie?"
Your face was starting to get warm, "Yeah that sounds great."
"Alright do I need to pick you up and we can take the bus or do you have someone to drive you?" He asked.
"I think I can convince my sister to drive me." Laughing a little.
"Great well I'll see you then, bye!" And before you could wave goodbye,he gave you a small kiss on the cheek. Leaving you a blushing mess just standing there.
That night you called Yaichi and told her about your day. She squealed when you mentioned him giving you a slight kiss, making you more embarrassed than when it actually happened. You went to bed smiling, replaying the time you spent with Iwaizumi in your head. Sure you wished you had made more conversation with him but it was still a fun day.
An: hello! :) I apologize for this being kind of a shorter chapter, it took me like 4 days to finish because i really had no motivation to write. Not to mention my internet has been really bad this past few days. but the good news is that I finally figured out an ending to this book. Also the Red Rabbits won mcc and I couldn't be more proud! That night I made a rabbit headband in celebration :) hope you enjoyed!!
