It was the Friday, the day you were to meet up with Iwaizumi again. The time was 5:30 and you had to be at his house at 7:00.
You had already taken a shower and put on some comfy but cute clothes. Now you were doing your hair. Throwing it up in a simple ponytail, you started on your makeup.
It was not 6:00 and you had nothing to do. Your sister had already agreed to drive you to Iwaizumi's house. So there was no point in bugging her. Deciding on just watching YouTube. Scrolling through your recommendations you decided on a true crime video.
40 minutes had past and the video had ended. It was probably a good idea to leave now so you knocked on her door and opened it to see her on her bed. She looked up and stared at you blankly waiting for you to speak.
"Can we go now, I'm supposed to be there at 7:00." You said.
"Uhh sure what time is it?" She asked standing up and getting her bag and keys.
"Like 6:45."
"Shit, yeah we should probably go now."
You followed her out to her car in the driveway and got into the passenger seat and giving her the directions to his place.
"So who is this guy anyways?" She asked after a few minutes.
"He's just a guy I met at our last game, gave me his number and we started talking."
"How old is he?"
"A year above me."
"Oh so he's going to college next year."
You paused. You never thought that you wouldn't see him next year. "Yeah I guess he is."
You sat there in the car while she drove, the bass of the music booming in your ears.
After about 20 minutes of driving and chatting you pulled over in front A house. And sitting on the steps on his phone was Iwaizumi. You could see him perk up when he heard the car pull up.
Getting out and saying goodbye to your sister you met him. His eyes were bright and as soon as she started driving away. He gave you a big hug catching you off guard. But let go when he realized what he did.
"Wha-what was that for?" You asked him.
"Sorry I just missed you." He sad sheepishly scratching the back of his neck. His face was very red.
"We spoke this morning!" You laughed.
"Yeah yeah whatever let's just go inside it's cold out." He said curtly and pulled your wrist to the front door.
