"so how's namjoon?" you and taehyung were sat in the college cafeteria. you both a free period and none of your friends did, so that led you and the older to be sitting where you were now — munching on some off brad potato chips.
"he's a great boyfriend." you look at him.
"he is?"
"why'd you question like that." a laugh leaves your mouth and you decide to eat one last chip before you were pushing them away...too salty.
"because your eyes are supposed to light up or something when talking about your boyfriend."
you eyes go to narrow by themselves, looking at the older through his glasses. "and how would you know that?"
"we'll because when i ask jiminie about yoongi hyung, his eyes sparkle."
"well that's them—"
"ask me about hoseok hyung."
your eyebrows furrow. "you like hoseo-"
the older waves you off. "just ask me."
"well...uh." you look at him. "how is hoseok hyung?"
"he is." taehyung nods. "he's amazing even, he's the sweetest guy i know, he's smart, has many talents...and well he's good in bed."
you almost choke on the salty spit in your mouth but the sparkle of taehyungs eyes doesn't let you, the fact that his eyes had been dilated just thinking and talking about hoseok.
"well i didn't need to know all that—but yeah, your eyes sparkled or whatever."
taehyung hums knowingly, "that's what yours are supposed to do."
"hyung just because my eyes doesn't do that doesn't mean i don't like namjoon." you stare back at him, lips pushed out in almost a pout.
"okay." taehyung shrugs his shoulder. "i'm not trying to deny that or anything but maybe you have the hits for someone else, it's been months since you talked to jungkookie."
"i know." you bite your lip almost not wanting to ask what you're about to. "how is jungkook hyung? how's he doing?"
taehyung head cocks when looking at you, a small smile on his face when he does. "he's okay, he's been a stubborn asshole lately, but i guess i can say he's fine."
"does he, does he um—" you give taehyung minimal eye contact. "does he have someone?"
"why?"
"just wondering, just found out about you and hoseok hyung, can't have anymore surprises." you give a faux giggle.
"i don't recall."
