10. Bonds

" Have we really been here training all day ?" Yn asked looking over at Natasha have expecting her to feel as lost in time as she was. " Yes we have, and I'm glad someone made dinner because I'm starving. " Natasha commented helping Yn up from the ground, Steve was jogging from across the room the join them. " Happy to see you could join as Captain Rogers " yn giggled jokingly hitting Steve's shoulder. Steve held his shoulder pretending to be in pain, but his hand stayed on the spot were yn touched him until they got in the elevator.

Everyone was at the dinner table, you can tell everyone is just here because they have to be. Non of them are actually friends outside of work except for Natasha and Clint of course. The Avengers was never a team built because it seemed like a fun idea, it was made to protect earth from outside threats that the normal government cannot handle. Thor tends to standout the most, he's not from earth he's not even close to mortal. This was interesting to Y/n so she spent the evening sneaking in looks towards Thor, everytime he would see her look she would pretend as if she hasn't done anything. Instantly getting his attention.

After dinner everyone once again went there separate ways and Yn decided to follow through with her plans of getting to know Thor. He was sitting at the bar, somewhere you would expect to see Stark bit he was of course in the lab with Bruce. Yn had this feeling they were a thing, but then again Tony was with Pepper. Yn toke a seat next to Thor, " Thor you seem off, what is bothering you ? "
Thor looked over to yn originally wanting to yell at her to go away but when Thor locked eyes with her, he felt something like an infection was moving through his mind yet it was welcoming. It made him feel safe.
" My brother " Thor toke a gulp from his glass.
" What about him ? " Yn asked as nonchalantly as she could. Hoping that Thor didn't find it weird that yn was asking this.
" He's always getting himself into trouble, like almost killing me... Almost killing our father, almost - "
" Thor ! I umm ... Think I get it " yn put on her most caring face and put her hand on his back, making slow up and down movements. She felt him relax, ease into her touch.
" I hate seeing him like this, behind bars. Trapped. He maybe a little annoying and mischievous but he's my brother " Thor didn't look up he was fake playing with his glass. His eyes drooping with sadness.
" Well Thor, I can tell you he doesn't like being trapped. And he doesn't blame you, he loves you. Just don't tell him I told you. Ok ? "
Thor only had a soft smile on his face. " Trust me he does not wish to talk to me "
" Thor I think your brother is the number one reason you have so much worry. I think you need to start worrying about yourself. Find someone or something ... what I mean is move on, I know it sounds terrible but just think about it you big lug " yn slapped him lightly on the back before standing up and leaving the room.

Before yn knew it she was back in her room, time always flys when you are busy.

Everyone was asleep, yn could feel it somehow feel them breathing, they were calm. So she toke her chance. She felt her room and visited her long time friend.
" Why won't you look at that " Loki purred. " You came back "
" Well I couldn't just leave you here " yn joked back, he could be scary but he made her feel safe.
" If that's how you feel yn I would recommend a therapist "Loki commented, making yn remember that around him her thoughts were not only for herself.
" Yn ... you ever notice that once the sun goes down people become more open. They tend to allow more " yn knew exactly what Loki was talking about, her past mistakes haunting her.
" What's your point Loki ? " Yn was never one to quickly lose control over her anger but with Loki she can't control her emotions.
" All I'm saying yn is that, you need to watch yourself. Always protect your back. We don't want anyone stabbing it before we escape do we ? " He gave a charming grin as he came closer to the glass. Yn couldn't help but chuckle as his attempt at getting closer and flirting but she would never admit that it was working, she was falling hard.
" Ok ok, I'm getting really tired of waiting for the right moment. When are we going to start the plan ? " Yn felt like a little girl getting angry about sitting in the car to long.
" When you are close to Stark and or Banner.. " Loki stated as if his words were common knowledge.
" We both know I'm very close with Banner. " Yn decided to put a little spice into the very and see Loki's reaction. His nostrils looked like they wanted to breath but they didn't know how, but he instantly regained himself. " Well then see you tomorrow yn " Loki had put poison on the last word making it sound forbidden, making yn blush forcing her to just nod and leave the room as fast as possible.
